Food and drinks were great! Service was adequate
Great food, service, and atmosphere!
Great food, great service, great wine. Will definitely be back!
Best staff and nicest owner
Lovely delicious in all ways!! 💜
The celery salad and burrata are delish. Great wine too! Good spot for enjoying nice weather.
Everything was great!!
Incredible restaurant for date night! Food was delicious and the wine was amazing.
Not a place to go on a special occasion. It was my birthday and even though the bartender was told and it was put in my reservation, neither the hostess or bartender said a word. Add to that the brusqueness of the bartender equals me never goin back.
LOVE coming to Joe’s!
Celebrated our anniversary here, and everyone was fabulous!! Loved it and we’ll be back.
Fun food with the shared plates offering more opportunities to try different things. Great wine selection, with a helpful wait staff to advise you on pairing.
Modern, industrial, sophisticated retro atmosphere with elevated simple plates
Great service, selection and style! Will definitely be back soon
The perfect place for a glass of wine at any given evening. The staff is fantastic and passionate about what they do! I’m very happy about this new place in the west loop
Amazing wine selection! Perfect for all. The food was excellent as well. Smaller dishes perfect to share friends and family. The service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Just can't say enough about this experience. It's a must in Chicago!
This new restaurant will do well; great food and service makes a great addition to the Fulton Market food ensemble. The owner was on site Sunday morning, which says a lot about the integrity of the operation and the commitment of the crew.
The food & staff was incredible! Can’t wait to go back
The server was good. The wine was good. However, the food which should be the most important ingredient for any restaurant, was disappointing. The celery salad was tasteless. The mussels was nothing special. Overall, go for the wine and the scene. But not for the food.
Had the puffs and ricotta for apps - got the grilled octopus for an entree - all absolutely delicious! Service was great and we received a free dessert and glasses of dessert wine, truly a great first experience here; will be back!
Great new patio spot in Fulton Market. Perfect for a date night when you want to explore some new wines and are not trying to eat Publican quantities. Wait staff was very helpful and honest sharing their favorites instead of trying to say the whole menu is great.
Nice place - unique cuisine well prepared
Slow service took a while to get our plates
Great selection of wines but overpriced
Otherwise a great find
Food was delicious, and the vibe was very on-trend. Definitely a great experience overall.
The food was great. Waitress was great. Overall great experience.
This place is incredible, one of our favorite date night spots in Chicago! The food is phenomenal.
This is a typical Chicago eatery where space is narrow and goes way back; and tables are packed in pretty tight. The menu is really good with small plates that feature vegetables very well. The celery salad and spring pea dishes were a nice change. Cocktails were great, wine list and rsecommnendations were also very strong. Initially, we weren't asked for our drink orders at first and a table seated after us wound up getting the jump on their items all night. Because we were so packed in we felt a little neglected. However, everything else about the evening was very nice. Great great location and the $$ value for what you get is very fair.
Every detail is perfection!
Terrific experience for brunch, can’t wait to try it for a dinner some time soon.
The server was lacking. All of our food arrived before we even got our glass of wine. He had to remind and ask again. The server was not attentive. The noise level was louder than normal which made conversation challenging
Birthday celebration. Food and service were exceptional.
I love Joes and have been a few times since opening. However when I was in the other day my girlfriend and I both got the octopus dish and there was a significant difference in size of dishes. It was really strange as we both got the same dish.
I took my Mom to Joe’s Import for brunch. She was visiting from out of town and wanted to treat her to a nice afternoon out. This turned out to be the worst dining experience I have had in Chicago in years. The food was horrible and the service was slow. We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer. It came out and was basically a tomato jam on toasted bread. It had no flavor and when we asked for salt and pepper none could be found and they had to search the kitchen for some. Our server put our order in wrong, which would have been fine, but rather than remake both of our orders they put mine under a heat lamp and made my Mom the correct order. When our food finally arrived my avocado toast was scalding hot, the avocado and the toast a complete tasteless mush. My Mom ordered the crab benedict. In the past when I have ordered this at a restaurant it is an English muffin with poached egg, fresh crab and hollandaise sauce over it. This was crab mushed together and deep fried to a burnt crunch and used as the base for the egg. It was greasy and also had no taste. For a $100+ brunch the food was absolutely horrible, we left with stomach aches and would not go back. I have never left a negative review ever on Open Table but felt this strongly about the food that I had to do it.
The food was amazing! Great wine list. The owner is so nice and came over to the table and provided so much knowledge on all of the wine! Excited to add this restaurant to our rotation!
Great food and really great wine. Joe was super helpful
Beautiful space with extensive wine list (and some good looking cocktails too!) Really diverse and eclectic food menu and everything we tried was delicious! On top of it all, we had an extremely amenable, attentive server who offered great recommendations and did everything she could do add to our experience. I will definitely be back!!
We had brunch at Joe's which was very good and tasty, but I was a little disappointed by the seating. We were at a high top table that was not very large; felt like a cocktail table and no place to put purses. Brunch with water, mimosa's, coffee, etc takes up a lot of space and we definitely needed more. The food and service will bring us back to try dinner but I will definitely request different seating.
You can grab a some extra cool points taking your date here.
Joe's is the new, hip kid on the block. I hope this place stays busy, but not so busy that I can't get a table when I want!
Highlights: Extensive wine list offering an unbelievable number by the glass. The food is delicious and reasonably sized for tapas style meal! Our group of four tried the burrata, summer peas, mussels, raviolo, ribs, and roasted chicken. The peas are so so so perfectly crunchy and tossed in a miso dressing that we ordered a second and considered a third ....
Everyone here was delightfully hospitable, offering a celebration dessert and cheers of moscato for our friends who got engaged.
Thanks so much! We'll be back.
It was a bit pricey for the food. The menu also looked terrific, but the food was just ok.
