Joe's Crab Shack - Westminster

I am pregnant and have been craving Joe's crab shack! I am from Huntington Beach Ca and when we moved here I was so excited to still get to enjoy a little taste of home! I took my dad for his birthday and was so happy with how clean it was how the staff seemed so happy to help. Very accommodating when I called and asked for a both because my dad is handicap. Over all 10/10 would recommend! We will be back! :)

We felt bad for the guy who was running the whole restaurant by himself, but it took like 90 minutes to get our food and it was freezing on the patio.

Great crab and seafood, but a little on the expensive side.

The food was pretty good, but we were there on Halloween and everything was rushed and awkward. The seating was fine and the staff was friendly. Recommend!

The food was terrific and the wait was reasonable. It felt like our waiter was overwhelmed but we totally understood due to COVID and probably a reduction in staff due to distancing requirements. Good value for the food.

The crab cake was not good, not tasty for sure. $10.00 for the margaritas was a little pricey. We drank them but won't order those again.
Mostly satisfied the food but not worth the hours drive it took to get there.

Nate, the manager, was amazing! Our server was attentive, the food was tasty and the portion sizes excellent. This was a birthday dinner to remember...excellent!

Joes is usually great. This time we felt really rushed. They were out of 1 of the ingredients in my wife’s drink. They served it to her maybe thinking she wouldn’t notice! The food was, for some reason, not up to their usual standards.

Crab was great and so many servers in hand to help make sure you had stuff or to take away stuff you were finished with.

The quality of the food was not up to par. We ordered steam pots and the lobster had very little meat the sausage was not quite done, the potatoes were tasteless. Overall poor quality

Great service- all wearing masks! Was not busy for 630 in the evening which was nice also. Food was great, as always!

First time to Joe’s Crab Shack, it was good. We did note on the Open Table Reservation that it was my wife’s birthday but that was never acknowledged by the host staff or server. But otherwise the food was good and the ambiance is fun! I loved the Hurricane drink. We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms, crab and shrimp dip, clam chowder, a Cajun pot and an Atlantic pot. The appetizers were great and the pots were amazing! So much flavor and a lot of food! Good thing we only ordered two pots to share between the three, any more and it would’ve been too much! Overall a good place to go and enjoy a fun night!

We had a great experience. The QR code menu was easy to use. The ambiance is mostly what you expect at Joe's except they staff didn't dance while we were there. Food was superb!

Food didn’t taste like it should and the staff wasn’t very nice kinda pushy the also didn’t have a table for us I booked it hours in a Vance and we still had to wait for about 15:00 minutes after we got there

1st time at this Joe’s. Great people, great food and a fun atmosphere. Especially like when the staff dance!

Our server was fantastic! She was super fast, efficient and so polite. The food itself was substandard. The calamari wasn’t cooked very well, and the steam pot for two was very low quality.

This is an everyday restaurant that has more than just seafood. The food, service, and atmosphere are very good, consistent, and a good value for the money. Every trip over the years has been good and even when we bring guests who don't love seafood, they can have a good alternative meal. We love the crab pots, oysters, mussels, fish and variety of options. The entertainment provided the staff is fun!!!

Made a reservation for NYE. Walked in and was seated within 10 min.

Waiter messed up order every step of the way and then never came back with the check. I had to chase him down to pay our bill. Just not worth it anymore.

Hadn't been to Joe's Crab Shack in a long time. It was a snowy night, so not very busy. We tried the queen crab and a steam pot. Both were great. Going back next week for a birthday dinner.

Food was good!! Balls of fire were my favorite!!

Overall we enjoyed our dinner there. It was our 2 year olds 6 month anniversary with us and he loves crab. The only issue of the night was the waiter broke and spoiled a glass of wine on me. It was red wine and the glass broke showering me with broken glass and a full glass of wine. It wasn’t that big of deal except they didn’t even comp the wine or anything. In fact they changed me for an extra wine initially- 3 glasses total. One that was spilled on me and 2 additional and then comped the one that was spilled. I never would have expected that in a million years!! I was wearing a yellow and white dress that thankfully wasn’t ruined but it was still a cold wet ride home.

Got the king crab bucket and was highly highly disappointed. Was very bland and only got one claw and three other legs for $40. 👎🏻

Great service! Pricey, but a good portion of food. Fun atmosphere. Thanks for a nice birthday dinner!
