Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. This was a reservation to celebrate a 30th birthday for my daughter. Upon arrival we were greeted with there’s a limited menu as the doors would be closing that evening. We asked if they had crab. They said they would check they did we ordered the last of the crab legs that they had going out that evening They were delivered to us cold and one of the two boils were only the little ones. They did not have the sausage or eggs we were told they didn’t know for sure if it would even include the corn that comes in the boils and we were charged full price with no discount on missing items. The bar was still fully functional thank goodness! The server was great, even though we could tell she was very stressed out. We tried to calm her stress level as much as possible, and be understanding as this was not her fault however we were traveling from out of state with it being dinner time and not knowing the area that was our decision to stay and at least get what we originally came for where the crab legs for two of our people. We were told they had no chicken, no burgers and we ordered the Alfredo asked for a discount since there was no chicken to go on. It was brought out a child side portion with just butter on the noodles.

It took the food a while to arrive, but we were informed by the Waite staff that they were given news about an hour before our dinner reservation at the specific location was shutting down, our server continued to act very professional and provided excellent service. The food was was very good.

Our server Josh did a great job in serving us, made us feel welcome. The food was outstanding as usual. We are definitely coming back for more.

My wife had Caesar Salad w/ chicken and a side of coconut shrimp both of which were okay. My stepson had Queen Crab Bucket for $57. which he enjoyed. I had the “Sampler” that advertised crispy calamari that wasn’t crispy but the crab dip was good although the portion was small and the great balls of fire (4) in this sampler we’re good but for $19. As reasonable value but I left hungry. If I go back again ( doubtful ) I would try something different like fish & chips or salmon

We enjoy JCS when we’re in the mood the king crab. Price is hard to beat and quality is generally good to great. Service at his location is typically outstanding. Management is always visible and engaged rather than standing around watching everyone else. Keep in mind this isn’t Eddie V’s or Chart House (Landry’s fancier concepts) so you can’t really compare the two experiences. But for quality seafood and good service Joe’s is hard to beat.

My favorite place and eat here every year for my birthday. Their BBQ crab is amazing. Get the Dungeness. It’s my fav. It’s meaty and sweet. Highly recommend dipping this meat in some tasty warm butter. Yum!!!

We are not from AZ. We are from South Dakota. Eating at Joe’s Crab Shack has been on my bucket list for the last 15 years. I finally got to eat here. And to be honest, it was fantastic!!! I would come back again!!

Our server was outstanding and everyone else was very nice. We enjoyed the food and they do have large portions. The stuffing and crabcakes are delicious. We'll be back there again!
