Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. made reservations for my sons birthday. When I arrived I waited over 15 minutes to be seated. The lady with long hair brownish Grey mentioned the birthday upon giving her my name for reservation. Once seated it took the waitress a older lady woth short grayish hair forever to get our drinks. Then probably 20-25 minutes to take our order. She never introduced herself either. She almost completely ignores us the whole time. We arrived at 9pm and didnt leave til almost 11. The food was cold on top of all this. I was giving the excuse a large party came in ahead of us. The waitress also allowed her table behind us to be over served with alcohol causing them to be loud and disgusting in their language. They screamed about condoms and all kinds of inappropriate things. I know for a fact servers in TN go thru tabc classes and that table should've been cut off well before they left. It was a awful experience. As a child I loved going to the memphis location and thought it would be great experience for my sons 10th bday... IT WAS NOT! the waitress never once mentioned my sons bday. I paid 200 bucks to be treated like leftovers. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could've given you a zero for staff I would've! Manager feel free to contact me. I should've been next to last to check our last night so you should have contact info. This was a waste of a trip.

Food was extremely salty and overdone. Hush puppies on other hand were raw.

Over the past three years my wife and I have visited Joe’s about four times. Each time we had cold food arriving at our table. We had asked for the manager and he or she had replaced the food, but each time the dinner came out of the kitchen as cold as the first time. Each time we had visited the restaurant it was our anniversary. That made us very disappointed. Yesterday was our anniversary and decided that we would go one more time. We were very excited to get a very nice and hot meal. In a pleasant atmosphere. All of the staff were very friendly and polite. We were very happy to have a very nice meal that was a great. I thought I was going to get the “Joes Crab Shack “ experience. I’ve ate better crab legs from the gas station down the road. The food was horrible. For the same price I could have paid to deep sea fishing and caught my own. Never coming back here again.

Had reservations for 8pm had to wait till 820 to get seated took awhile to receive food but the food was on point, thankful for that.

We arrived at 7:30 for a 7:45 reservation. We were sat immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately it took an hour and a half before our food came to our table. Every person at our party didn’t receive their meals after waiting that long. After waiting 2 HOURS, the last meal came out. When I spoke to a manager about it, they informed us that the person ate the food regardless that it came out 2 hours later. They gave us a hard time and all I asked for was for that one meal to be taken off my bill. My bill was $500 and they argued over the last meal. Absurd.

Food was good..ordered the crab boils, and there was a great amount of crab on it! I ordered a crab cake and waited about 45min..definitely not worth that wait! Didn't offer to take it off the bill, waitress just said don't tip me🤷🏽‍♀️
