Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

The service was great however the food was terrible. Way over seasoned .All we tasted was the strong seasoning. The food was served in a plastic bag. The price for the quality of food too high. Tap water was served. Filtered water is a healthier option.

Excellent service from beginning to end; the waitress was top-notch. She took care of us and was attentive throughout the visit. There were multiple birthdays that day, and the staff got the entire restaurant involved; we were singing and cheering. Great vibes. But the food, wow, the food was fantastic. The servings were huge, and the food was fresh and delicious. All 6 in our party had a different dish and were 100% happy with it. We will be back.

First was given orange juice for a child that honestly tasted like it had alcohol in it. After their “investigation” was told oh it’s just bad our fridge was acting up earlier. Then it took nearly 1:15 mins to get food after ordering and the kids meal came out a good 45 mins before everyone else’s. Then when they brought stuff out food was missing stuff and I mean 3/4 adults had stuff missing on their plates.

Food and beverage were problematic. Pina colada was advertised as made with ice cream but had only ice. NU strip was grizzly and undercooked - seared on one side and barely gray warm on the other. Ordered medium but came out rare-mid rare. First lobster tail was crispy; second was rubbery. Spent $95 and left hungry. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great Mother’s Day was spent with really good food. The wait staff was very much on their game. I would definitely recommend and come back.

I made a reservation using open table and we got seated right away. We waited 30 minutes for a waiter to come up to our table and no one ever came so we left.
