The crab cake sandwich is making me want to fo back again today for lunch! I was seriously surprised by it! As an east coast gal, raised outside of Philly, that is how a crab cake should taste. But that sauce just takes it to a whole other level!
Service and food was amazing!!! They definitely need to remodel, the outside and inside is outdated compared to other Joes Crab Shacks that we have been to.

The service we received throughout the dinner was not that great had to ask for a lot of things and had to ask others to get our waitress. The snow crab legs were very salty and not fresh tasting. The corn on the cob was overcooked.
Great! My pregnant wife was craving crab, so what better place than Joe's Crab Shack!? It was a bit pricey vs what we got, but everything was delicious.

I haven't eaten at Joe's in years, so we thought we would stop in. They have really gone down hill since the last time. We used to love this place. I had the dirty rice which was so-so, the hush-puppies were fairly bland but at least they weren't overcooked. The crab cakes were the worst, they tasted like mushy tune patties and were not very warm. My husband got a burger with a skewer of shrimp added. The shrimp never came, apparently the order was never put in for them. The waiter was great and very apologetic. We will not come back to Joe's the food just isn't worth it any more.
The place was an absolute madhouse. The staff in the kitchen were overwhelmed. I we both ordered the shrimp sampler. My grilled shrimp and my bacon wrapped shrimp were both somehow burnt and cold when they arrived. My wife's was fine but both of our shrimp scampi, which more resembled soup than scampi were cold and undercooked. We had never tried crab legs before so we ordered a coaster to split. It arrived cold and missing a leg. Our dessert was key lime pie and it was good. Our server was great and took the time to teach us how to eat the crab. Sadly in Colorado there aren't many decent seafood places and this is another we won't be back to.
All in all it was a subpar experience. Food was not great at all. Server was slow getting refills and just disappeared for long periods. It was super slow as well so not sure why it was so hard getting anything.

It took 15 minutes to receive our beverages and then the waitress commented on how stinky my husband's bourbon was. Really? Crab was tough. If you can't get fresh crab and cook it well at Joe's Crab Shack, what are they good at?

Used open table so that we could ensure a nice dinner for our 20th anniversary and even noted that it was an anniversary dinner. We ended up being sat right next to the kitchen opening and servers station. The hostess never even looked up our reservation. The food was less than we have come to expect from this restaurant. Overall a huge anniversary let down.

Quickly seated and got comfortable. Not very crowded at 5pm,which was fine with us. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Got our food fairly quickly and it was hot. Food was very good and we enjoyed our dinner. Will eat here again.
A good casual place to have seafood. The decor is stuck in the 1990's, true of the entire chain. It would be a good a idea for them to revisit, re-imagine, and update their decor/ambiance concept.

Really enjoyed the food, being from the East coast I really missed seafood, Joe's helped fill that void.
This was not a very good experience by any standard. From the cold, stale appetizer to the quality of the products. I was extremely disappointed in the restaurant. We had to painfully watch the waitresses dance to a few songs that they were not into. They did not appear excited nor enthusiastic about doing the routines.
The stuffed mushrooms appetizer was cold and not cooked. I was told by the manager that my Open Table reservation was cancelled and yet I received reminders about my reservation. Definitely won’t be going back.
Food was great. Service was wonderful and they made my granddaughter feel so special in her birthday!!
Only half full at dinner... loud, food just ok, and price too high for what you’re getting. Seems like Joe’s is going downhill in Colorado Springs, this will not return.
Food was great, the price was as expected. Our server was average. The only negative would be the booth we were seated at was in need of serious repair/replacement. The manager stopped at our table and we informed her.

My wife's crab cake tasted like nothing but pepper and a lot of it. My shrimp was barely cooked and very bland. The bacon wrapped shrimp were burnt and tasted like nothing but charcoal. We ordered the 11.99 add on crab legs. My wife's cluster had 3 small legs and no claw. My cluster had 1 small leg and 1 claw. Neither of them were cooked properly to allow for cracking of the shells. My beer was flat and the selection of beers was abyssmal. The manager took 30 dollars off after we complained and the bill was still 70 dollars.

So I'm not entirely sure what happened, but we went here for my daughter's bday. This was the first time we've ever been to Joe's. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food and when it did come out, two people at our table didn't get their food and had to wait about 10-15 more minutes (one of which was a very hungry kiddo). By time the food reach the table, everyone's food was cold, except for the two who had to wait longer for food. I'm not talking luke warm, literally cold. The manager did come out and apologize and also gave us a discount off of our bills, which was very courteous. I also want to say the waitress was very kind and had my daughter do the funniest thing for her bday. Although the service was great, I'm not sure we will try it out again.
We had to keep sending our food back because it was cold.

My first time there and it was horrible, my food was cold my food wasn’t cooked all the way, music was so loud you could not hear anyone talking at the same table. I was very disappointed. The only part that was good was our appitizer. No one even came to give us refills, asked to talk to a manager and manager never even came over.

It was a nice, casual experience. Food was up to par and very delicious. Their crab is kinda pricey. What I pay there for crab I can get twice as much as that at Walmart without compromising taste. Other than that, I love it. Been 3 times I would definitely come back

Got one of the steam pots with Alaskan King, Dungeness and Snow crab. The Snow crab was overcooked. When they asked how the food was, and I told them, they fixed me some new Snow crab, but it wasn't any better. The waitress was not very attentive and disappeared for long periods of time.
