Joe's Crab Shack - Cedar Hill
Food was gross. Waitress acted like we were bothering her because we had questions. She was too busy on her cell phone. We won’t ever go back. No wonder all of Joe’s are shutting down.
The food was horrible and tasteless. No seasoning and the service and server were horrible
On May 20, Monday, at 5pm, we ate at Joe's. I prepaid $30 for our party of 4 because it was my birthday and my brother always picks up the tab. I knew my wife and I would spend more than we normally allow at other restaurants (JCS prices are already too high for the food you get) so I had the server run my credit card for $30 and deduct the $30 off of the table bill for my brother without him knowing I had done this. The server either forgot or something else happened but it appeared that she did not deduct the $30 from the table bill. She didn't offer to give me a receipt for my $30 prepayment so I may have to contest this with my credit card company if they won't fix this at JCS in Cedar Hill, TX.
Had a 5 person table reserved however they took us to a 4 seater smh, ordered the crab bucket which I wanted a lil spicy, they threw a gobb of clumped up spices in the bucket all over everything which was entirely too much. I could have sent it back but didn’t wanna make a fuss... I didnt eat the corn nor potatoes because of the clump of mess....32.00 for the bucket went down the drain. Wasn’t busy but hardly saw the waitress, drinks were never refilled. Needless to say I won’t ever go back, the trip from Arlington wasn’t worth it
I was dissatisfied with the crab legs. Too much hair. Seemed rushed

Same problem that plagued this location in the past - too many rules! I couldn't get horseradish for my cocktail sauce unless I ordered oysters. What about my pound of peel-n-eat shrimp? It was good food, but not close to great.
