Everything was great except as we were preparing to leave my husband was asked to remove his fedora. I checked the website beforehand to ensure he could wear it. It only stated that baseball caps were not allowed. It needs to say no hats if any hats are not allowed.

Great food

The musical entertainment was very good, however, it was very loud. Everyone at our table was aware of having to speak loudly to be heard. This is especially unfortunate during the pandemic when loud speaking may be a way of spreading the virus.

My sisters and I brought my dad there for a pre-fathers day dinner and we couldn’t have been more pleased! It started out bumpy with the seating arrangements (we were the second group to enter once the restaurant opened and asked for a booth, and the hostess made it seem terribly difficult to accommodate). After we were seated at the booth, the servers made it an amazing experience from start to end. The food tasted so good! My dad asked that we bring him back every year for Father’s Day and that we will do!

Great to be out to dinner again. Thank you Joe Muer’s for being very conscious about social distancing and caring for your customers!

Everything was excellent from start to finish!! We ordered the calamari, Mediterranean salad, bone in ribeye, and the twin lobster tails- everything was so delicious- one better than the other. Service was excellent as well. Great experience. Will definitely go back.

Safety was first for their patrons, everyone entering the restaurant were temperature scanned.

Tables set for 50% capacity. Safe dining and mask were needed prior to entering the restaurant.

Anniversary dinner, notified but no mention

I wanted Joe Muer’s since April, it was everything I was craving. It did not feel weird with the face masks and our server was great! Manager came to our table and was friendly and made sure everything was great! Can not beat this place!

Terrific as always. It was a pleasure to return to normalcy by enjoying a lovely family dinner at Joe Muer's. I find the need to have my temperature taken as overly obtrusive. Otherwise, it was a delightful evening.

Decided to have the Salmon special and did not ask the price. $60 for salmon is a bit steep. Would recommend asking the server for prices on specials.

We had an amazing dinner to celebrate my birthday with our family at Joe Meur! We felt completely at ease with their new safety protocols. Every single item we ordered was prepared perfectly and delicious! Nick our server was fantastic! 5 stars for service! And you’ve got to try his table side Spanish coffee! Wow!

So nice for some "normal" after three months. Food was fantastic, waitress was great, and manager was there to watch over everything. Everyone in a positive mood. Was a great first-day back in three months after the state shutdown.

We had a great dinner at Joe Muer Seafood! The food was excellent from beginning to end. Great wine selection too. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be going back there again soon!

The first Monday they opened after the Covid closure and we were beyond pleased! The service was smooth and we had no idea it was their first night. Halibut was beautifully prepared and moist. We also had the scallops perfectly prepared. We’re headed to happy hour soon to enjoy the smaller plates!

Wife’s 40th Birthday. Service was excellent! Food was great! My wife and I consider ourselves food critics being that I have cooked and studied different s foods all my life. I would highly recommend Joe Muer Restaurant! Seafood was excellent! We had the raw bar plateau, 3.5 lbs Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp from the Philippines and a fantastic ribeye steak! Our server broke down the lobster for us and even offered to cut the steak! Last but not least the dessert menu is an actual rolling display they bring to your table and your server displays and explains in detail every dessert item they are offering for the evening.

I forgot to add that the Boston clam chowder was a silky smooth robust flavorful treat with perfect bite size spoonfuls of potatoes, celery, clams and so on!

We will definitely be back and will also refer Joe Muer to all our friends , family associates etc etc

My wife and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Later, that night we both had severe intestinal distress. The only thing we ate in common the whole day was the soup and bread basket from Joe Muer. Logic tells you it was the soup and/or spreads with the bread that caused this problem.

First time eating here. Family dinner night. The service was outstanding as was the seafood. Really left a good impression on us. A bit pricey, but worth it. We will be back!

Service was not very good for brunch. Had to ask several times for water or coffee refills and she was unable to suggest any dairy free menu items for one of our group. Second waiter that delivered the food had to actually ask “who had a waffle?” When food was finally delivered after an extended wait two entrees were cold and one was sent back to the kitchen. There was very light traffic in the restaurant at this time, so such poor service was surprising to me. The shrimp cocktail we had was fantastic, but everything else that our group had was only average for this price scale.

Kyle waited on us and was exceptional. He sensed we knew what we wanted and had another place to go to so that foresight was key. Fish we ordered was outstanding, drinks from bar were quality and manager came over to check on us and was entertaining. Overall, fabulous experience. We’ve eaten there many times since it opened and have also dined at downtown location.

Food and atmosphere were both good.
Our waiter, Paul, was absolutely outstanding, and made the afternoon a top notch experience. Best service experience I’ve had in a very long time!

Sadly, we were seated for 20 minutes before we were approached by our server and given drink menus, and it took another 25 minutes before we received our bottle of wine. We spent 45 minutes at our table with only water served. At that point we verbalized our disappointment to a hostess who happened by to check on seating in the room. Shortly a manager came to see us and addressed our wait - a bread basket and the customary bean salad was finally delivered to our table, as well as our server to take our order.
Unfortunately, the extremely slow service initially set an uncomfortable tone for the evening.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday...all 5 of us enjoyed our salads and entrees. Anna was a terrific server. Excellent!

Food was very good. We ordered appetizers and sushi only and it was plenty of food. The portions were large. The service was good. The only complain is that the restaurant was cold.

We had a wonderful and memorable meal for a large family across 3 generations. Service was warm and attentive which we really appreciated. All our food was delicious and the menu included options for everyone. Especially fun was the live piano player. For fine dining in Bloomfield, we felt very welcomed and comfortable thanks to the terrific staff. We’ll be back soon!

What a difference a server can make. Last week awesome ,this week a complete disaster . Server was truly out of his element , disconnected and made what would’ve been a great evening a struggle not to leave and move to another’s section. After my great experience last week this encounter was abysmal . Cold soup , mixed up/forgotten orders etc . It was a small group of 5 not too challenging

It was our Wedding Anniversary and great evening. I especially appreciated them saying “Thank You for choosing Joe Muer to celebrate your anniversary, we know we could choose anywhere.” We’ll definitely be back!

Jonathan is a fabulous waiter! All food was great & I loved the vegan dish. Birthday dessert and attention was lovely for our 99 year old Mom.
