Our servers, Brian and Sean, and one of the managers, Brian, made this friend’s get-together very special. They were very professional, helpful and fun! The food, as usual, was delicious.

We were given a lovely booth that was well positioned. Further, it was our anniversary, our host was very pleasant and provided us with a free dessert, lots of humour and balloons to decorate the table. Was wonderful and will visit again. Nothing but positive things to say.

Overall the food was great, server was attentive, but it took an unreasonable amount of time to receive our food and cheque. My client had to leave after being there for 90 minutes.

Absolutely fantastic as always. Joe Fortes is our favorite restaurant in Vancouver. The food and service is always outstanding. Appy hour is such a good deal for the food quality.

This was our second visit to Joe Fortes in Vancouver . Our first was October 2023 and if I were to be perfectly honest the first time would have received a 10 star review … Our anticipation was that we would expect the same experience this year and it was a dismal dismal disappointment as far as the food was concerned. The appetizers were wonderful as they were last year . However, the main courses were so disappointing and ill prepared that neither my wife or myself could eat them. . My wife ordered the salmon and it was so salty it was simply not edible . We are never ones to complain but in this case we brought it to our servers attention and she was kind enough to replace it with a new plate . This time the salmon was not salty and tasted wonderful…. That is, until she got to the thicker part of the fillet and found that the salmon was completely uncooked and again inedible. My meal was the 99$ bone in ribeye, mashed potatoes and vegetables. The steak and potatoes were so salty they were also inedible and underneath the steak, potatoes and asparagus was the same squash puree that was on my wife’s salmon dinner …. The squash puree while it was visually pleasing to the eye it was a far cry from anything that made the taste more appealing.. The manager and the server were wonderful wanting to comp our entire meal and we insisted on paying g for our appetizers and wine which we did with a generous tip for the server. I hope they will make sone changes in the kitchen before our next visit

Just to start, we live on the Sunshine Coast and frequently visit Vancouver and have enjoyed Joe Fortes many times throughout the years. For the first time I booked online and filled out the form. As it was a special occasion our 26 anniversary, asked for a great table. Unfortunately our table was okay but our server basically forgot about us. We did finally get our oysters but my glass of wine came with a glass and no wine. We finally had enough and found some one to get our bill. Ended up at Coast and dropped almost $500 and a beautiful anniversary cake on the house. That should have been Joe Fortes $500. We have lost your trust.
