The turn-of-the-century inspired dining room features 30-foot high ceilings and six unique dining venues that include our Rooftop Garden. Director of Culinary, Wayne Sych, and Executive Chef, Ryan Green, prepare each dish with a focus on natural flavours and features the finest ingredients from Pacific Northwest farmers, fishermen, and other food artisans. First time customer from out of town. Wish it was local. Our waiter was Wade and he was an exceptional representative for the restaurant. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very proficient. Excellent choice, nothing but praise for this establishment.

Made reservation a few days prior but we were delayed coming from the ferry. We contacted JF to let them know we were running 20 mins late. Staff accommodated us nicely. Used the valet service upon arrival to speed our arrival. Valet staff were courteous and efficient. Our table was on the main floor tucked away in the corner. It was private enough for a date night but a little too large which separated us too much. Been to JF probably years ago and understood it was under new management but was delighted to find that it still offered the great food and fun vibe it always had. Our waiter Johnny made us feel more than welcome, provided drinks in a timely manner and recommended dishes which we took him up on Seafood linguine and sable fish. While we waited for our meal Johnny asked what brought us here and I mentioned that this was my brothers favourite haunt before he passed suddenly. His friends provided a plaque in his memory on the bar top! Johnny added that my brother’s friends were at the bar right now. So he took us over to meet them…. What a fun night that meant the world to me. Despite our distraction from our meal Johnny mentioned our food was ready. It arrived hot, seafood was tender and sauces delicious as was the pasta. We had tickets to 6ix so unfortunately no time for dessert. We enjoyed our meals immensely with the reasonable, service impeccable and our car brought up and we were off. Thank you Joe Fortes and Johnny for making this the most meaningful night out. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we’ll be back soon.

The food was absolutely delicious, but I dropped it down to star because it is far too loud in there to enjoy a nice meal and be able to have a conversation with your dinner companions

Food and service was good however we as a group felt awfully rushed to get out as we were notified of a reservation for 7:30. Our business meeting was cut short due. Thank you, Ryan

Service was exceptional we had a large group of 12 people and our server Mya made sure everyone was taken care of. Mya was an absolute rockstar, and made the dinning experience that much better.
