I've not had a bad meal here. Yes it is pricey, yes it is hard to get a reservation. Plan ahead.

From start to finish, this was a world-class experience. The service was personal and thoughtful — they knew I was hoping for bone marrow and surprised me with a special off-menu dish that absolutely melted in my mouth. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, deeply flavorful with the perfect char and buttery texture. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Canada. If you’re a meat lover, this is your place. Everything from the setting to the staff to the food was unforgettable.

Everything we had was delicious and beautifully presented (lobster salad, crepe appie, hanger steak, carrots, fries, and desserts - Marjolaine and Linzer tart). Service was attentive, helpful cheerful, overall, just great! The music playlist was also phenomenal. Highly recommend. Can see why we couldn't get a table the last time we visited Montreal. This time we booked 3 weeks in advance.

Overrated, over priced, too noisy and warm. $95 filet mignon drowned in sauce, too salty and mushy. $11 side of carrots limp and mushy. 2 mains, 1 side, 2 glasses of wine for $240 (before tip; $270 after tip)—outrageous. Sorry but we won’t be back.
