Super easy to make a reservation. Cocktails were good - I suggest the Gin & Jam. I had the French toast, which was yummy and very filling. The place is really small and only has 1 cook so I wouldn't recommend for large groups. My friends seemed to really love their meals, too.
My wife and I came here for a Sunday brunch and Joe & Mrs Doe did not disappoint! Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated. The restaurant has a laid back vibe- the kind of place where you could enjoy a custom crafted cocktail at the bar for a while, or have the best damn plate of food you've ever had. I ordered the famous biscuits and gravy, and my wife got the duck hash. We both practically licked our plates clean. This place is a MUST-GO if you're anywhere near NYC. 10+/10.
Disappointing experience. We waited an hour to be seated despite a booking. Given the size of the restaurant, bookings should be managed more carefully. Rapidly after seating the restaurant cleared out - though this didn't impact the service we received, which was slow and unresponsive.
I love this restaurant, consistently amazing food, have tried their brunch- awesome biscuits and creative eggs, and their dinner menu is fantastic! Best innovative cocktail's and wine list! All this and fantastic service, warm reception and a great vibe makes this one of the best restaurants in Manhattan.
