The stone crabs were a pleasant surprise. We love stone crabs and these were the best we have ever had. They were perfectly cracked, making them easy to eat. The taste was excellent and they were served with a great sauce.

Our second meal at JJ’s and it did not disappoint. Excellent wine, attentive but unobtrusive service and wonderful food. My lamb shank was incredibly tender and delicious Our Vancouver oyster starter was was excellent. It felt we had the restaurant to ourselves. A wonderful night out.

The day I dined, it was very crowded and the tables were way too close together. My quiche Loraine was not what i was expecting. It tasted like cream and onion. Where was the cheese and bacon flavor? Service was okay, nothing exceptional. This visit was not as good as usual.

Five friends were celebrating birthdays at lunch. We had a delightful time. Food was as always delicious. Service was great and we were not at all rushed even though most tables were filled. JJ stopped by the table and was charming. We had a lovely time and recommend it for a special,occasion or an everyday treat.

Food was very good. Service was good. At times very good but a bit of a wait in between. A little uncomfortable interaction with the host. He said his name was JJ. We arrived with our 5 month old with a tight passage to enter the restaurant. My wife had to move part of the front desk to get by to which he said well that’s a big stroller & watched her due so. To which he watched her move it. I never heard hello or welcome. Unfortunately, this just did not sit well with me the rest of the evening. Our 5 month old didn’t make a peep throughput dinner. Taylor was great. Jordan was very nice. Was kind enough to make a substitution for the appetizer. The oysters from Washington were delicious. The older gentleman who said was helping out was warm sweet & gentle. Also very attentive to everyone. For the record, I am a tough critic. Spending 15+ years in fine dining & 20+ years as a business owner. The energy & vibe from JJ was poor. To which, even though the food & ambiance was very good…we won’t be back.

We first ate at JJs Liberty Bistro during last years' visit to the Jacksonville area. We were so impressed that it was an absolute requirement to eat there again this year on our annual visit to the area. We were not disappointed! Quaint atmosphere, fabulous food, and great wine. Highly recommend making a reservation whenever you are in town!

The restaurant was noisy. The owner catered excessively to locals and was non welcoming and non communicative with us though he spent a lot of time with other customers who must have lived in the area. Food was OK and portions were small. Dessert was large but not memorable. We would not recommend.

They were very accommodating and the food was wonderful. Top quality. I thought we had given ourselves enough time with an hour and a half but they were upfront about the kitchen running behind, and once they realized we were making it to a musical performance. they speeded things through, but with class, and we did not feel rushed. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience.

Tis place is fabulous! Just Google five star reviews, and this will pop up as number one in Pontevedra. The food was fantastic the ambience, very quaint, very romantic and very quiet. The staffs attention to detail is outstanding. if I had my choice to go to the seahorse Grill, which you have to stay at the Ponte Vedra in a club or be a member I would definitely choose JJ's over Seahorse Grill. I recommend this restaurant highly and should be put on your top five to do list when you are visiting Ponte Vedra Florida.

The lamb shank and Chilean Sea Bass were cooked to perfection! Taylor provided a spot on French wine recommendation and Jordan, our server, was super attentive, helpful and friendly. The owner visited our table and was warm and welcoming. We will certainly return soon!
