JJ's Bistro de Paris
Try the bacon brie en croute or the charcuterie plate to start out your meal at JJ's Bistro de Paris. Choose from French dishes like the duck leg confit served topped with port wine reduction or the moules frites. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of homemade desserts. If you're craving something light, try the crepes du jour or the quiche Lorraine.

Had the duck legs very good.save room for dessert do many to choose from. All looked good had a hard time deciding!!!
With the exception of them running out of salmon, the food was excellent and the service very good
Worst ever service experience on a Restaurant. Manager (or owner) suddenly decided to close earlier (we were only customer in the premise) so we were rushed to make orders as a result. During 1 hour (approximate) we had time to have wine, starter and then soup but decided to leave after subsequent request to rush any other meal as kitchen was closing suddenly at 8pm. I elevated complain to Manager and his response was that this Rest was small
Business and not a place to Study (he certainly cannot dictate what we do during the meal as long as we keep consuming). His rudeness was evident. I certainly cannot recommend this place and anybody with the bad luck of being only table being served in the Rest could have similar treatment. Looking at prior reviews in the Open Table site now, I realize this situation has occurred before.
This is a definite come backer you think your in Paris
Finally we have found a REAL French restaurant here in North Florida. The decor is very nice. You feel swept away to a Paris bistro.. the menu is VERY French and Very good. We will DEFINITELY be back.
This restaurant is one of Jacksonville's best kept secrets.
The food and ambiance was amazing as usual however the wait staff turned on the overhead lights, turned off music, started putting up the chairs on the table, and began mopping all before close. Yes we were the last table but it was 9:35 on Friday when they began doing this. They close at 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights. We were eating our desserts and finishing the last of drinks so it wasn’t because we were taking our sweet a$$ time. I didn’t say anything at the time but it was rude and I don’t expect that from an establishment of this kind. Not sure I’ll be back, pretty disappointed.
our waitress was awesome and very friendly. we will definitely go back again..
We will be coming back soon.....for our next celebration.....or next time we have quest visiting....prefect place to go for great food....
Best part, did not feel rushed. A nice, quiet and enjoyable evening.
One of my favorites in Jax. Always great
Delicious, cozy. Nice ambience
other than not notifying Open Table that we showed up on time for our reservation, our food and service was great and we would highly recommend this restaurant to our associates
Intimate setting. Good food choices and wines. Good quality
Easily one of my favorite spots in Jacksonville. Great wine, great food and even better desserts. Service as always was outstanding.
Excellent french style bistro- Love the food and atmosphere
Food was outstanding & the service was impeccable. Atmosphere was charming & made you forget that you were eating in a strip mall.
Overall a good experience. However, the highly recommended desert, the strawberry cake, was barely mediocre. It put a pall on the meal, especially since it was a bithday.
Overall it was fine. The food was good-better than average for Jacksonville but not phenomenal. The service went from attentive to absent pretty quickly. They seemed to be understaffed for the volume of customers, which sometimes just happens. But I love well executed French food and on that level I would give them a solid 8+ on a scale of 1-10. Unfortunately the atmosphere is nothing I can recommend or look forward to returning to. Next time I will try their other location ....or go back to Orsay.
This restaurant is authentic and delicious! Every dish I tried was fabulous, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The food is always good at JJ's. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. But, the desserts are the BEST!
Most amazing experience. Food was absolutely wonderful. Found a new favorite place in Jacksonville for fine dining.
We felt as if we left Jacksonville. The ambiance was so unique, set up like you are eating at a restaurant along a French street. Very quaint inside. The food was delicious. I can’t say enough about the desserts too. We will be back!
Food was fantastic
Great service and food.
Really enjoyed our evening out. Food was great. The filet was so tender. Deserts were amazing. Owner recommended an excellent bottle of Bordeaux. We look forward to returning in the future.
We had a wonderful evening at JJ’s! We hosted our monthly book club meeting there on a Thursday night and it was the perfect setting! Delicious food, fantastic service, and quiet enough so we could have a conversation. Highly recommend!
French onion soup best in Jacksonville. Sauce on escargot was spectacular. Steak frites and Parmesan crab salmon were solid entrees. Server Amanda highly attentive. Coconut Florentine and Blueberry tart delicious. Excellent lattes. Overall great dining experience.
Our food was delicious. This is one of Jacksonville’s hidden gems.
Great all around dining experience. Menu had both creative and traditional country French items. Food was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Setting is casual and able to carry on a conversation.
First timer, enjoyed experience, will definitely return and our server Jody was a delight!!!
Very good food, service, and ambiance. It was expensive, but I wasn't expecting it to be cheap. Both of us had a wonderful time. 10/10
Excellent experience. Food was delicious, service was terrific and the waitress was very attentive. Ambiance was great.
Desert list is incredible.
the food was excellent! i had the scallop appetizer and sauce which was very good. the evening fish special was very tasty, the risotto was a good or better than the one i prep. jody our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and interacted with very well us. the owners son stopped by our table as well to check. this was our first time there and will definitely go back very soon.
Server was rude and called us honey and sweetie. Very condensing and disappointing for what they call fine dining.
what a wonderful dinner. it was a perfect place for my birthday.
Quiet understated legends, with fine service, uncomplicated menu for the connoisseur and fine dinner.
I am French and enjoyed the authenticity of this restaurant... The food and service was outstanding!
