Welcome to JJ O’ Malleys one of Westport’s most well known bar and restaurant. We are located at the top of Bridge St in the heart of westport town, At O’Malleys we offer a lively venue with “olde world” restaurant upstairs.
Our A La Carte restaurant is open from 5.00pm - 10.00pm (Please check updated hours on main page)

Food delicious and service great. Recommend having the Short ribs delicious fell off the bone and crème brûlée to finish. 😋

The sauces for the fajita were awful. The fish pie had some nice big chunks of fish but it honestly was dry and lacked flavor.

Luckily we booked because JJs was busy. The service was excellent and we were well looked after by all the staff who were excellent. It’s great to see young local people employed and they were all excellent and professional. The menu is great and covers all tastes. The fish and chips was as good as anywhere I’ve had and some others in our group had the crab spaghetti and feedback was excellent. I thought I was going to be sitting on a high stool eating pub grub but I got something that far exceeded my expectations. When I return to Westport I will be stopping in again.

Book ahead for this very popular restaurant. A very versatile menu with good cooking and presentation. A friendly, young and energetic and well managed team ensures that meals are delivered in a timely way.

Never miss a visit to O'Malley's when visiting Westport. The food is such good quality, the restaurant and bar are buzzing with atmosphere and craic. But the staff are exceptional, so many young people, so good at their job, genuinely a lovely experience to go here.

Went for a few drinks before our meal booking, the bar staff downstairs were very friendly and great craic ! The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was fantastic considering how busy they are, can’t fault them at all the staff make O’Malleys all credit to them..
