I didn’t really like the desserts, they all seemed too soft and too plain and citrusy. The chicken shawarma portion was too tiny, and I felt ‘watched’ throughout the whole experience. The music choice was quite random. The lights outside need to be stronger. I couldn’t see what I was eating, we had to ask for another light. The coffee was alright in quality but nothing special. I wouldn’t go there again. I think they should go back to their previous menu for afternoon tea. And give visitors the ability to choose which desserts and so on they’d like to have rather than come in for random things every time.

A truly amazing restaurant, set in an architectural masterpiece and serving with deliciously re-invented traditional Gulf dishes. Try the set menu: it is very abundant and s a great way to explore the Jiwan cuisine at a very affordable price.

Added it as extension to my visit to the National Museum of Qatar.

Interiors are decorative and outdoor offers a great view of the Doha skyline - though I was requested to change my booking to indoors due to lack of visitors. There were barely any other guests.

Service personnel were very courteous and attentive.

I was a solo vegetarian and was hoping for some Qatar and veg fusion. No veg dish in the Main course - the chef offered a couple of customized options that I didn't find appetizing.

Finally, went for a bite and a side, Tomato fatayerI and Portobello mushrooms - they were good.

Overall, it was underwhelming for me due to no outdoor seating that was one of my main reason and lack of decent vegetarian options.

The choices in the menu was very disappointing, we tried 2 kinds of desserts was good but the coffee was not good , such a beautiful place should have better and improved food .

Everything is Excellent! Ate there 3 times and every time it was a new menu and every time it was an awesome experience!

The experience were exceptional regarding the food, service and atmosphere.
We enjoyed the experience and i do encourage every one to try it to experience the Qatari cousin with a twist.

Good experience. Avoid noon due to the sun exposure ir contact before. They got a bad detail when due to mistake by waiter they brought us additional mocktail that was included into the final cost. The water us extremely expensive, even for Qatar. Food was great and view is amazing.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in Doha. Their take on the cuisine from this region is tasty and the presentation is fantastic. In addition, you can take the opportunity to enjoy the stunning architecture. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back again.

Everything is amazing in jiwan. We know its arabic qatari traditional food but alot of people doesn’t like qatari deserts. So u may think of increasing the deserts menu of something without dates like victoria cake, vanilla, chocolate or even cheesecake. So the visitors have other choices to order not only dates on khanfroosh. Overall everything is perfect.
