Our waitress was outstanding! Food was prepared perfectly. Our only complaint was there was a group that was very loud and obnoxious. They kept moving from table to table. It was distracting for us, other than that it was a great experience.

My wife and I had a very good first experience at Jimmy’s. Our wait staff was very attentive without being obtrusive. The meal was presented well, tasty and timely. Our table was on a busy thruway, but not overly distracting. A big plus for me was the noise level in the restaurant was moderate and made dinner conversation easy. We will return.

Food was really good, service was lacking. We could’ve spent more money if the server was more attentive to our wine/cocktails. We sat without anything to drink (water or otherwise) for upwards of 20 minutes. Would’ve ordered a glass of red with our steak, but no one asked. Would’ve had a glass of port after dinner but no one came to the table.

Everything was excellent! It was so relaxed like European dining not rushed to move you out. We were there for two hours and not because we were camping that is the pace of bringing out each course of the meal. The staff was so friendly including the manager who came by to visit with us and then spoke again as e were leaving with a personal touch by recalling topics from our earlier visit. Oh and by the way the food was truly amazing. We had crab cakes, pork chop, lamb and coconut pie. We will definitely be returning soon!

First time diner. On a par with the big (expensive) steakhouses, but a better value. Steak was tender and full of flavor. Fries were great. If you are going to serve fries, make them right. These were right. Very fairly priced. Highly recommend and we will be back.

We had a mostly quite dinner on a Sunday evening. There was a baby at the restaurant and I think it’s parents stayed a bit too long. The baby had sat quietly as long as she could. Our wine and dinner server was very good and unobtrusive yet friendly. I was a little surprised at where we were seated. The restaurant wasn’t full but we might as well have been seated at a bar table. However, it turned out to be lovely as we were able to watch the bartender at work. The food was good and cooked to our specifications. Thank you Jimmy’s Chophouse and Staff.

Second visit to Jimmy's Chophouse. Food and service were excellent. Noise level was good for a steak house. Extensive wine list. Everything we had was well prepared. Would recommend trying this one. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Prices are quite high and yet Jimmy's does not provide bread, and charges $2 for steak sauce and a whopping $4 to load a baked potato. This seems very stingy to me. The complimentary relish tray includes a huge blob of a cheese mixture and a few stringy carrot and celery sticks and thin breadsticks, not enough to use up all the cheese. My filet was of excellent quality but oversalted. Servers removed some empty plates but had to be asked to remove the rest. Overall, at these prices I should have nothing to complain about. It's not worth revisiting Jimmy's.

Had read prior reviews and was amazed at all the positive comments. Am pleased to add another positive review. We ordered filets which were both seasoned and cooked to perfection…medium and medium-rare with a nice char on the outside. Choice of potato is included with the entree, which is good value for the price. We enjoyed traditional baked potatoes that were just the right temperature…not burn your mouth hot! We shared a wedge salad with quite tasty house made bleu cheese dressing. Desserts were tempting, but we opted for a glass of port to finish the meal. The restaurant is dark, but the ambiance is great for either a romantic date or to enjoy with friends. So glad to have this new dining option in our neighborhood!

We were all prepared to love this place. It’s nice and close, we like the other concepts from this group, etc. But…our experience was disappointing. We were seated immediately, but then waited at the table a solid 10 minutes before anyone came by to even pour water. Another several minutes went by with many staff members just walking by. We felt invisible. Finally after 15+ minutes of waiting, a young man approached us, saying something about not realizing that the table was assigned to him. Our next disappointment was with the drinks. There is only one (in some cases two) kind of wine in each category sold by the glass. We wanted a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Zinfandel. The Chardonnay that was available by the glass was not mainstream at all, like say, Sonoma Cutrer. It was a relative unknown, unoaked choice. All the “desirable” Chardonnays were available only by the bottle, and a pricey bottle at that. Rombauer, a very nice Chardonnay retails for around $30/bottle. The Summit Club, a private Club charges $80/bottle. Jimmy’s charges $119/bottle. Are you kidding? Almost $90/bottle more than retail? The Zinfandel was lumped in with the Malbecs, and there was only one Malbec available by the glass, no Zinfandel. The appetizer plate they brought out was not good—stale breadsticks, some unidentifiable cheese/rice concoction. The staff didn’t seem to know what was on it. It was just their job to bring out the plate. All that said, the stuffed mushrooms were excellent, as were the Brussels sprouts. The “chopped” salad was not very chopped, and the filet was okay, not great—a little overdone. The decor is nice. It’s much louder than we expected. All in all, a disappointing evening.

Drinks were great! But, we all agreed the food was pretty underwhelming. My steak was tough and chewy which should not be the case for a medium rare, and it certainly didn’t live up to the price. Bake potato was as basic as they come. I don’t think any of them had butter. Mine I ordered with sour cream but it was low fat, so basically it was just dry and bland as the others. I mean the food was as basic as it comes, and price was way too high. I can’t imagine coming back to spend $100/person and a getting $40/person experience.

This was our first visit to Jimmy’s Chophouse, and we were not disappointed. My husband got the bacon wrapped fillet and I got the duck fat roasted chicken, both were incredible. We started our meal with a meatball appetizer that could’ve been a meal in itself. we actually ended up taking home part of it. My husband enjoyed a cup of the lobster bisque, and we both split a small salad at the recommendation of our waiter and that was just enough. We finished the meal with a piece of coconut cream pie to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. He will definitely be back for every day dining as well as special occasions.

Overall this was a great experience! Food was good. Service was good. We were charged for a few extra items that we never received. Biggest complaint is they way over charge for a decent drink!!! I’ve never been to a steakhouse that served so “light”. When asked if they could make my drink a little stronger she replied we only poor 1.5 oz. I will have to charge you for anything above that🤦‍♀️

This was our first time at Jimmy’s Chophouse. The food was very good and the service started out fine but once we got our food, the waitress didn’t come back until quite a while after we had finished our meal. I would have had a second glass of wine but didn’t have the opportunity. We will go back and hopefully have better service.

We had a great time. The wait staff is top notch and very attentive. The asparagus and lobster were perfect. The filet was great but it didn’t stand out over any other great steak house. The complementary breadsticks and veggies were interesting pair. I’d be curious to hear why that was picked to be served. We would highly recommend and will visit again. It overall was a great dining experience.

Still holding out hope for Jimmy's Chophouse as they have a fine menu and a beautiful interior and are still going through some growing pains. That said a few disappointments on our latest visit: 1. Wine was way overpriced with few value options. For other bottles, they are offering at 3x+ retail which is well beyond the norm of 2x. Example, Rombauer Chardonnay retails at $34, JCH at $112. 2. Poor kitchen dispatch QC on appetizers. We ordered crab cakes, which were tasty but served with very little remoulade. What was there was under the greens and lemon. 3. Poor kitchen dispatch QC on main. We ordered the pork chop which, in and of itself was cooked perfectly and delicious. However, they did not plate with the mustard cream sauce. We had to ask our server where it was and she had to return to the kitchen for some. Again, hoping some of these things can be worked out as the food was quite tasty!

We had a wonderful meal! The Brussels sprouts are to die for! Our server was excellent, so all around a wonderful experience!!
