   Nice dining room and view of the woods to watch the deer. Food was piping hot and delicious. We would visit again

   I was not familiar with the location. Based on the website it appeared very inviting. I was in town for an event at a nearby campus. Jimmy Simm's is the new business at a previously existing restaurant/bar. There is a sign at the entrance explaining business is new and renovations are underway. We arrived at the scheduled time, 5:30. Friendly waitress said we could sit anywhere, but suggested not using a specific table. Most tables needed to be cleaned although restaurant was not busy. Only a party of six at another table. A nice waiter provided us with drink and food menus. When I ordered a specific draught beer, he advised that was no longer available. Somewhat disappointing, but I was was able to get another good one. Waiter was a bit slow in taking order, but food and drink was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Food was very good, especially for bar food, and staff was able to accommodate wife's diet restrictions. Waiter presented check promptly when requested. Waiter also loaded directions to next event on my phone.

   Food was good, I just would like to say service could be a little better, they forgot one of our soups eventually brought it out after half way through her meal. After being seated, no one came for awhile so I think it was just lack of communication maybe?! but she did apologize so we were appreciative for that but then we a could had empty drinks they never asked if they wanted refills so we had to grab the waiter and ask. And one of the entrees were a lil cold so she had to return it. We will be back just wanted to give feedback and help your team continue to grow. Loved they all were very poultice and smiling!

   Very disappointed with the service. We waited for over 20 minutes after being seated to be greeted or offered drinks. Then had to keep going up to the bar to get refills rather than our server checking back in with us.

   I started with concern since I read the previous reviews after I made the reservation. This restaurant is very new and it is obvious by our experience is improving dramatically. We were 1/2 hour early for our reservation and our table already had the reservation sign on it. The drinks were great better than most we have experienced in other restaurants. The service was very friendly, prompt and professional. Both of us enjoyed our food, it was delivered as ordered and meet all our desires. We will be returning especially for their Friday seafood specials which were not available on Saturday. They were not crowded but when the restaurant is full, it will be noisy since all surfaces are hard. We prefer quiet dining which we did have with the crowd size they had.

   My wife ordered the Coq au vin but it was not the authentic dish. It was a chicken breast with onion gravy on a huge pile of mashed potatoes. I ordered the perch but they brought me cod. The food tasted okay but they definitely have to work on their menu items and their service.

   Unbelievable. Second time we have been there. Second time they had no idea we had a reservation. Both times we waited more than 30 minutes to get seated. They had no idea we had a reservation either time. Second time they were out of any menu choices we were interested in. Second time we left without eating. I understand they are new, but they have been operating several months. If they don't get it by now, they are not going to get it. They "appreciate" our patience. We are out of patience. Too loud. Staff is way over worked. Owners are putting them in a place where they put up with complaints, that is sad. Pretty much a complete failure.

    This was our first time there since they opened. It was very busy and they did not have enough staff to handle it. We waited 15 minutes for our first cocktail and never got a second after having our glasses empty for 15 minutes. We ordered our food but had to cancel the order as we had to go to a show that we had tickets for. I hope they get things figured out as we will try to go back one more time.

    We were very excited to finally dine at the new Jimmy Simms. We arrived and had a few cocktails during happy hour. Excellent bartender and service. More people arrived and we decided to sit in dining room and order. After 1/2 hour noone acknowledged us or took our order. We asked bartender to take our order. After another half hour a waiter asked if our order had been taken. He then went to kitchen and brought out our order, it was pretty cold by that time. Other diners were walking out because they were not getting waited on. Very sad

    We made a reservation for 6:30 via open table. Upon arrival there was no host or hostess to greet you so we waited for the bartender’s attention. The bartender had his back to us for quite some time before he turned around and acknowledged our presence. The place was about half full but we were told there was about a half hour wait because they were serving a big group “that came late”. We ordered a tap beer and waited. The entire staff showed no sense of hustle or intent to catch up. We were seated after about a half hour, waited another half hour for our order to be taken and then 45 minutes for the food. The entrees were not hot, and appeared to have been sitting under the warmer for awhile. I got the bluegill dinner and got 3 small fillets no more than 3 inches long and it didn’t taste very fresh. My wife got the Coc Au Vin, the chicken was over cooked and dry. We heard the commercial on the radio, tried it and were completely disappointed so we won’t be back.

    No hostess or greeting. Unbelievably poor service. Food was just below average. We didn’t get drinks until after appetizers were served. Lettuce on the salad had clearly been sitting out for a long time. The kids buttered noodles sat under a heat lamp so long they were fried. Three of nine meals were served and then another 10 minutes for the rest. The servers were clearly inexperienced and there was no manager visible. A shockingly poor experience.
