   I was a bit disappointing compared to previous visits there. Our last time out I recalled my meal was exceptional and I thought I remembered salad or side was included in the past but I may be confusing with another. This visit my steak, cowboy cut, was decent but not special for the price. The halibut was a large piece but didn't have a lot of flavor. Service, Angel, was very good but for over $310 (tip incl) without an appetizer or desert sure did feel like too much for the food received. We did get a bottle of wine which was priced nicely.

   We started at the rooftop bar with Shayla as our bartender. She was so happy and joyful which made our evening start out with fun and excellent cocktails. We went downstairs for our dinner reservations. We were seated with Jeff as our waiter. He was very attentive to all of our needs and helped us pick out our appetizers.  We chose the bone marrow, which was not my top choice, but I will order it every time we go now. For dinner, my husband had a steak that was cooked to perfection, and I had the halibut which melted in my mouth.  I can’t wait to make reservations again.

   the steak, a filet mignon, was excellent and cooked perfectly. the waitstaff and management were professional and helpful. however, i had ordered a lobster tail and it was not really great. fishier than it needed to be. i did have dessert at well, crème brulee and it was very tasty.

   Bring back the Sea Bass and fried Oysters!! We have been going to Jimmy Kelly's (JK) for years and tonight was not good! JK has went down for sure since the new mangement took over. The prime rib tonight was served not warm, was too fatty (3 of the 4 were), and too bland. The scalloped potatoes were also not warm and no flavor; however, the onion rings were hot and very good (best part of the meal). Very disappointing for $341.00 (4 of us). JK, needs to read their reviews, no longer the primo steak house in Nashville. Since new management took over, the qualty of food has decreased, yet prices have really increased, the $31 -$50 is not correct, more like $56 - $89 for meat only and $14 for sides. Improvements must be made or no more JK, it will be Jeff Ruby's in the future.

   7 of us were there for dinner last evening, 4 adults, 3 teenagers. Check was over $600. On the positive side, the wedge salad was outstanding. On the negative side, every side came out cold, and we ordered quite a few of them. I can only assume they sat downstairs too long, waiting to be delivered. 3 steaks were ordered medium rare. 2 were well done, and 1 was still raw in the middle. All 3 were sent back. Service was mediocre. Never offered a refill on the iced tea. She would disappear for extended periods of time. Didn't offer additional cornbread. A manager came by, very gracious, corrected the steaks, offered desserts on the house, which was nice since we were celebrating 2 birthdays. My wife and I have been eating at Jimmy Kelly’s since 1992. Things were WAY off last night. Ruined the evening. Appreciate what the manager did by apologizing and the desserts, but when the flow of the evening is this screwed up, it's just a screwed up evening. Feels like we wasted $600, and gift cards were used.

   The food and service was fantastic. The prices means we will only be back for special occasions.

   Probably one of the best meals we have had in a while at Jimmy Kelly’s and we go pretty often

   We have been many times but haven’t been back since the change of ownership. The food was flavorless and bad. Our steaks were “Oscared” for $20 extra and it sat in a pool of some other brown sauce that shouldn’t have been combined with the Oscar. It all souped together. For a $90 steak experience, I expect far better. The baked potato lacked salt so it was dull and flavorless. All of the food lacked flavor. Outside of our waiter and eating with my son who had just returned from college, the experience was bad and I will not return unless I learn things have DRAMATICALLY improved.

    This is our go to steakhouse. We have tried many different ones but this one stays at the top of the list.
