Other great restaurants with availability. We asked to be seated earlier than our reserved time and were accommodated right away. Steven our waiter was attentive, caring and knowledgeable. We love Jianna's.
Except for the noise level, Jianna's is the best restaurant in Greenville. Pasta and bread are outstanding and authentically Italian. I always get oysters and they have been sourced from some of the best venues and are delicious. Salads are interesting and appropriately dressed. Good wine selection and well made drinks.
Heard so many great things. Food was warm and dry with little flavor. Was really excited to have a great meal there.
Great service, great food. Very nice touch with the birthday celebration!
Loved it. Everything was great
Wonder evening,,waiter very good and the substituted pasta type at our request too
only negative comment is, luckily we were not in a hurry - our food order took over 30 minutes to get. not sure quite what happened. Saw others getting their food who came in after us (we table of 2, them ta table of 5) Food was very good, so will try again
Only our second time here, we will be back. Oysters were great, we split a Philly Sandwich. Plenty for two. The Caesar salad with chicken was a lot and good. Bloody Mary OK.
Wow, what amazing dining experience!! This hidden gem located in downtown Greenville is a “must” for anyone that appreciates authentic food with flavor. The restaurant has a warm, energetic vibe. The entire staff is so friendly; everyone we spoke with from the hostess, manager and server went out of their way making us feel welcome as a first timer. Each spent time going over the highlights on the menu and made recommendations. I can’t wait to head back to Greenville to dine at Jianna again.
They were outstanding as always! My family comes here often. First time for dinner. I had a special food request and they accommodate so easily for all of their customers. Forever one of my favorite places to eat.
Excellent red snapper
1st visit, very pleased...will be back. Oysters delis!
One order was for a pork "stew"with field peas and seasoning. Unfortunately there was no identifiable pork meat in the dish. Stew should have plenty of whatever it's called. Disappointing. The other three meals were fine.
SI
Always go there when in Grenville downtown. It never disappoints!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We appreciate your loyalty and can't wait to have you back again soon. Best regards, Andrea Ciavardini General Manager
Meet up with friends and first visit to Greenville.
Nothing special
Food was very good and the service was excellent. Being a Friday night we expected it to be busy and hectic, but the noise level at our table by the bar was far too loud. It was difficult to have a normal conversation. The staff was very kind in acknowledging my sister's birthday. My only negative comment is the ridiculously high prices for wine, but that seems to be the norm, especially downtown.
Spaghetti and meatballs were excellent.
Amazing as usual - our friends from out of town were also very pleased with their meals!!
The food was excellent. The service was unobtrusive and excellent. Despite a full house, our order was taken promptly and served with no delay. The menu is not extensive, but offers interesting options as well as some conventional favorites.
Stack did a wonderful job; very attentive
Jianna never disappoints! Excellent food and service.
This was our second visit to Jianna and, as expected, food quality was quite good. Our waiter also did an excellent job. However, what made this a a substandard dining experience was the poor attitude of the hostesses when we arrived. We showed up at 4:58 for a 5:00 reservation, the place was empty, and the 3 girls at the reception stand seemed very busy at whatever was more important than greeting guests. No "hello", no "welcome" until we spoke up and identified ourselves. We were then left standing there until they were good and ready at 5:04. Maybe I should have apologized for being such an inconvenience to them!
Jianna is our favorite restaurant in the Upstate. We love the service, the food, the staff, EXCELLENT!
Overall very nice and delicious.
A bit of a mixed bag here... The food was great! Northern Italian with a contemporary touch. The service was attentive, but the waiter was literally screaming at us... and everyone else he served all night. We were thinking he might have a hearing disorder but then again, the noise level in the restaurant did later pick up to a level that was frankly unappealing. The decor is also not to our taste, with tables practically on top of each other, allowing no privacy at all. Outdoor dinning on the balcony would be a good option in Spring or Fall.
Love all of the appetizers. The meatballs are the best.
Great place to eat in downtown Greenville. Definitely recommend folks that want to enjoy Italian food.

The food was excellent. I enjoyed every single forkful from the pear salad to the dessert. The only downside is how slow food is coming out. I attributed it to the Italian way of eating meals at a leisurely pace but my husband was not as patient. All in all, it took about 2 hours to complete a 3 course meal and I would actually get a little hungry between courses. It was also a bit loud inside, which was unexpected. I would return for the food though.
It was our first time dining here. Love the atmosphere. We sat inside and the noise level was not too loud. I would sit outside if the weather were warmer. The bar was nice. Food was amazing. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. Overall it was a great experience.

Excellent tasty food with a varied menu- the ricotta toast is delicious!
This is my 2nd time in a month eating at Jianna. It is very good. The 1st time I had Jasmine as a server and she accommodated all my food concerns. Carman was my server for the 2nd visit and although she was very good she did not relay my food concerns to kitchen and my food had to be remade. It's a great restaurant and I will be back and hopefully will get Jasmine again as a server.
Amazing restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend Jianna to anyone.
Excellent food and wait staff.
Great food and great atmosphere
The drinks were really really good... great bartenders who know what they're doing. The drinks are also big, so you're not getting completely ripped off like you do at many nice restaurants when you buy cocktails. However, Jianna is so expensive for what you get, food-wise. The food is good. You're not going to be disappointed necessarily with the actual food, but it's nothing special in my opinion... especially considering how expensive it is. If the food was incredible, I would not be dissatisfied with the price, because I knew it was going to be quite pricey. The price is never an issue when the food is incredibly good. I got the rotini and my fiancee got the halibut. Hers was fairly good but really dry in some spots. When you charge 24 dollars for a very small portion of food, there's little to no room for these types of inconsistencies in the dish. When price rises, so does the quality of every nuance in the food. If this was a 12 dollar dish, I would be amazed with the quality... but I expected more for 24. My rotini was good, but got insanely old after about 3 or 4 bites. It had good flavor, but was quite plain and it was the same price as the halibut... pretty basic pasta, although it was very fresh tasting. All in all, it was a cool place, the food was good, we had fun... but it was way too expensive for what it actually is. I've been to much better restaurants in the same vein of fine italian food and they were much cheaper. Jianna should lower their entree prices by 30% and it will make sense for the food they serve. I'm willing to give it one more try though. We did have an amazing appetizer that I forgot the name of.
JIANNA had excellent food and service. The pasta dish was excellent but a bit one note. The venison special was amazing. We were very glad we tried both. The only thing I didn't like was that the tables were a little close together which made getting in and out slightly awkward. Small complaint for an overall excellent experience.
It was our anniversary and two friends joined us. Food was yummy. Our waiter was very attentive and helped with wine selection. Good experience! Our second visit.
Jianna seems to get better with each visit. A very impressive restaurant in s sea of tough competition.
Third time here.
Seems like they are finding their rhythm.
Beef carpaccio was excellent.
Best oysters in town, by far.
A good 40 minute wait between appetizers and the entree. Was told, “the kitchen got backed up. “
The chicken, when it arrived was overcooked.
The sommelier and wine director, Lisa, was black belt!
Mixed berry sorbet was a fine finish.
Go for the oysters and the Italian wines.
This is Northern Italian influenced, just so you know.
