Great service. Menu was too broad. Difficult to make decision. Good quality. Great atmosphere
Delicious oysters and pasta! Loved sitting on the patio overlooking the Falls Parks area. We will return :).
Lovely Anniversary Dinner. The evening was enough cooler that we could dine outside. Delicious food and wine, attentive staff. A favorite!!!
Tina was our server and was extraordinary-knowledge of the menu including great recommendations that we took advantage of and a memorable level of service. The food was equally on par with Tina’s performance. We’ve eaten here many times and always come back.
First time having dinner at this amazing place. Hands down, my favorite restaurant in Greenville. Everything was perfect beginning to end. Well done Jianna!!!
We had gone to Jianna on a food tour, and the spaghetti we had was fabulous. We went back for a full meal there, and this time the spaghetti was a bit tough, and our other meal was not very hot. The service was great, it just seemed the food was off this time.
Everything was excellent! Ate out on the balcony...
The front of house staff was extremely accommodating in ensuring our balcony request was met(tables on the balcony were a bit wet from the rain but they dried them off for us to enjoy a nice meal with a great view). Our server Esteban, the server’s assistant, and food runners provided prompt and attentive service. Never needed to flag someone down. I especially appreciated the mise en place service by the server! I always prefer to have a clean fork and knife following my appetizer. Overall I couldn’t have been happier with my dining experience. Thank you for making my trip to Greenville more memorable!
This wasn’t our first time and it won’t be our last. My husband and I had another amazing meal at Jianna’s. Food and service were excellent and we love sitting outside.
My party’s reservation was 2:00 pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy. We ordered 2 dozen of oysters for appetizer. Mains: gnocchi, pasta dish and the salmon dish. The appetizer took a very long time to arrive. They brought our entrees before the appetizer. Apparently it was a new person shucking the oysters. Oysters where pricey and really small. The entrees were average at best. For the price, I expected better. Service was poor! Need better staff working the floor.
Salsa verde, mushrooms & kale served with the salmon was border line too salty. Small portion of salmon could have had a piece of grilled bread. But fair overall.
The chicken Florentine sandwich was really good, and good value. A little acid and crunch could be interesting. The pasta was ok, but not with this sandwich.
Look forward to returning!
Great place to celebrate some special date with your love one or friends. Our server Sara was so kind, always smiling and suggesting us what to try since it was our first time.
Loved our visit to Joanna’s and can’t wait to go back. Food was great and the restaurant decor was very cool. Our server was phenomenal and personable. Loved everything!!!
Great great experience! Costly though, and not worth the prices we paid.
Impressed but expected better service. 2 glasses of Prosecco at $10meach stunned me when I got bill. Should have looked at menu. Some might think that $100 for 2 for dinner is nothing. We will only come back when I have had several drinks somewhere else first.
We had a wonderful meal sitting outside on the elevated terrace, overlooking Main Street. This continues to be our favorite restaurant in Greenville. The food, atmosphere, service, and vibe never fail to exceed our expectations. Would recommend this as a place to eat for anyone and everyone.
Jianna’s is a nice classy restaurant. The host was quick and friendly. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The food and drinks came out quickly, which of course is always great. The only issue was that we ordered oysters and were still enjoying them when our main entrees arrived. There was space to put down the plates but the two servers stood there awkwardly waiting for us to finish our last 4 oysters. My husband quickly finished his but I put my two on a little plate. The servers took the oyster plate and then attempted to take my small plate with my unfinished oysters. I quickly grabbed them and moved them to my main dish. It felt a little awkward, rushed and rude. Overall the food was amazing. The “large plate” was a little small for my husband but mine was quite large so I shared some with him and we were full. It was my birthday and the waitress gave me a menu and soup spoon with Jianna printed in it. It was a very nice surprise and different from the typical free dessert. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back again!
this delightful restaurant overlooking the reedy river in greenville, sc is definitely worth a visit. The menu is concise, varied and reasonable. My wife had a couple apps for dinner while I had a lamb ragout pasta that was very good. The restaurant is comfortable and modern and is fun to be in. We highly recommend it.
We waited about 30 minutes after ordering, no food, just beverages. A woman came over and said, I have a funny story, laughed and proceeded to tell us that they thought our order was a training exercise and did not prepare it when it was turned in. We didn't laugh. So she offered us some bread while we waited. No other compensation, just 4 slices of bread. So no thanks, I can go somewhere less expensive and get better service.
Dined for my birthday and it was exceptional!
We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday there on a Sunday evening and everyone from the person who seated us to the food runners, wished her Happy Birthday! Nice touch personalizing the menus for the occasion and the gift she recieved of the signed menu and wooden spoon were a nice touch as well. All of the food was delicious, however, I was surprised that the special had run out by 7 PM ish on a Sunday night. It sounded particularly delicious, though everyone agreed that all of our food was quite tasty. Save room for the peach cake and ricotta gelato, a unique and refreshing dessert. I did ding the noise level only because we were seated (as requested) on the outdoor balcony and the street had some fairly loud traffic. This can't be helped, but if one wanted a more quiet meal, you might request an inside table. We enjoyed it and even though it was a very hot summer day, the breeze was cool. Thank you all for making her evening special!
The food was quite good, but the temperature in the restaurant (door to outside was open and the AC just wasn't keeping up) and the wait for the food (waited ~45 mins) put a damper on the experience. Definitely will try again in a different season, and when I don't have to make a show.
Been awhile since we visited Jiannas and we enjoyed it as much as any other time we’ve dinned there. Always attentive service with a sense of humor and not overbearing. The food was excellent, well prepared and presented. Was in the upper 80s and humid so we didn’t sit on the deck but the open windows to allow full bar service made the inside a bit too warm. It seemed to effect service staff more than us but if there’s a way to “fence in” that area of the bar to maintain a more comfortable inside temperature, that would help. We will definitely be back again.
Our 15th year anniversary 😀
Happy Anniversary! Thank you so much for spending it with us. Best regards, Andrea Ciavardini General Manager
Sarah was very diligent in her service, returning often to refill waters and check on us even though the restaurant was full. Our food was very good and delivered to the table in a very timely manner. A very pleasant dining experience.
Jiannas is a special eatery! It has fabulous food, great spirits, superb service and wonderful atmosphere! The specials are also very tasty! For you seafood lovers: Jianna’s Oyster Bar is a must do! Fabulous Oysters!!!
We must commend the outstanding management, staff and restaurant to making our visit very special! Dan, our server & Greenville native son, made sure everything was to our satisfaction and that we had a really good time! He was very professional, knowledgeable and a perfect ambassador for Jiannas!! Oh yes, try the Bloody Mary, Mimosa or a fine beer as suggested by Dan! We highly recommend Jiannas!! We will be returning often! You will not be disappointed...
Exceptional. Went twice in 2 days because it was so good. Great cocktail menu. Service at the bar and table was great. Stags was our server and was a class act. Oysters are top shelf and were superb. Had Fanny Bays the first trip and kumomotos the second time there. Had the waygu beef carpaccio as an appetizer and it was great. Had the spaghetti TBG and the Fusilli for entrees. Both were excellent. Fusilli was a large dish and is now one of my favorite of all time. Must check this place out if you’re in Greenville.
To start off with, the service was some of the best I have had outside of New York City. They just know what they’re doing. The wait was a bit long, but we were there for a romantic dinner so that was perfect. The appetizer was Gnochi and bacon in A lemon sauce, that was to die for. It is true Italian, it is true excellence. The cuisine was radically better than one anticipates in a relatively small community. Could not have been happier, and plan trips down the mountain from Asheville to take guests there with regularity. Thank you for a great meal and truly top-notch service.
We had a great time!
Everything was excellent! The price was a bit high for the amount of food, but overall the experience was great!
Brenna was a good waitress but wish we could have seen her a little more during the meal. Only wish, had some wait to have some air moving on the balcony. Food was delicious.
Anniversary dinner. Overall the experience was nice and this was not our 1st time dining here. The experience was better this time, however it is just not there for the service and value.
Delicious and wonderful service.....the only complaint is that it was quite loud. Difficult to hear conversation. Still thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Agnolotti appetizer was amazing- I’d have it again x 2 as an entree! The Grilled Octopus was just ok. We had the Scallops with Ferro entree and it was delicious as well. Service was sufficient, however a very noisy place. We’d go again for sure the next time we’re in Greenville.
Great food and great service. Liked that it was Italian but not the same ole entrees in a typical restaurant. Our waiter was exceptional. We had a seat in the balcony and it was perfect watching the July 4th crowd from below pass by and hear the band directly below us.
Would definitely go back!
Jianna is a great spot in Greenville's West End. Atmosphere, food and service are top notch. Particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating. Highly recommend Jianna!
First time thee. A little noisy but not annoying. Forgot to bring out 1 app but were nice enough to comp us for the late service. Great server with fun disposition. Will definitely return
We had a great meal before a show at the Peace Center.
Great as always - great food at a reasonable price
Brought my mother in law here for dinner at the recommendation of an employee from The local distillery. It did not disappoint the food was delicious. The menu is small but they also have a daily special not on the menu that I really enjoyed. My m-I-l enjoyed her dish as did my hubby and daughter. Will definitely be returning
