Excellent place from the location, views, service and food!
Best view in Philly. Wonderful service, not as expensive as you would think. Food was awesome. They are new and still working the kinks out. But I sure hope it stays open to they paying public, because it truly is the best view in the city in all four directions.
The views are amazing and the staff was wonderful. The lounge type food was less than to be desired. The fries with the sliders were overdone and dry and the pizza was a bit blah.
The JG SkyHigh is located on the 60th floor of the Four Seasons Philadelphia. The service was outstanding. My family (Wife and 7 year old) and I were seated by the window facing south. (Airport and stadium view) Right behind me was a curtain that hid a speaker. The music that was playing was the type that you would expect in an establishment of this level. I did ask to have the music turned down. It was a little difficult to talk to my wife with the level that the music was set that was coming from the speaker directly behind me.
We dined for brunch @ 11:30pm. The JG SkyHigh offers small plate entrees. We ordered the sushi entree, the mozzarella pizza and two orders of the beef sliders. Everything was fresh and made to order, outstanding. You could tell that the potatoes used in the french fries were cut just cut and cooked perfectly.
The only negative that I can say about our dining experience was that my wife wanted to order a Bloody Mary and the bar wasn't prepared to make them.?We were perplexed... we were seated opposite of where the fully stocked bar is located. I can't imagine an establishment that cannot make a Bloody Mary.
For dessert we ordered the cookie platter which came with: 2 chocolate, chocolate chip, 2 regular chocolate chip, 2 almond cookies (My favorite) and 2 thinly oval shaped butter cookies. These were hot out of the oven and we all enjoyed them.
Overall, the food, atmosphere and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend dining here and we will be back!
The ambience of the Lounge and entry was beautiful. Then the experience only got better with the staff from doorman to servers who were all very friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the starter menu, and we want to return to try the dinner menu .
Upscale, beautiful restaurant/bar in the brand new Four Seasons hotel atop the new Comcast tower. Ideal for happy hour -- with good drinks and a nice selection of small plates (including pizza, salad, sushi, and sliders). A bit pricey, as you'd expect from an upscale location with a panoramic view of the city. It just opened, so try it out!
So I am vegetarian and they feed me beef mistakenly.
The cocktails are delicious! I have never had corn in a cocktail before-- but if you see it on the menu, it is a must try!
Fantastic all around! The views are stunning! Definitely check it out!
The view is amazing and the fried sushi was delish!
Amazing food, breath taking views! Would definitely come back. The only complaint is that they use fleur de sel liberally.
I highly recommend JG SkyHigh. The views were amazing . The Ginger Margarita was perfect and all the food was beyond fabulous. highly recommend the Salmon over Crispy Rice and the Tuna Tartar lettuce cups.
The restaurant is beautiful and definitely a destination for the surrounding area. I had the beef and it was cooked very well but was a little salty. My wife ate salmon and was pleased.
Service was good but obviously new and learning. But the experience with staff was pleasant and all communicated well.
There weren't a lot of choices on the menu but hopefully that is because the restaurant was still opening and not open for the public yet.
The view is insane. The mirror feature on the ceiling really adds a nice pop. Our server was very delightful. Overall great experience.
Lovely experience, enjoyed the night from the door all the way through dinner and back through the door again. The staff was excellent and really made our night a memorable experience.
I would love to come back again and recommend to friends. Would like to see a tasting menu option, and would like to see a coffee selection on the menu.
btw, the restaurant itself is gorgeous, and you must go at night.
The ambiance was awesome. The service was truly impeccable. Our server wad very engaged, down to earth and well versed in all the details pertaining to the items on the menu. She provided recommendations that did not disappoint.
However, when requesting cocktails, it took longer than normal-and it was not crowded. Overall she was an excellent server/hostess. Everyone was great.
The bar was fun and the bar attendant name was Abriane. (sp). She was so funny and witty. She remembered my husband and I during the evening and prepared his cocktails perfectly.
Great spot for a Friday lunch. Beautiful views and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
Very nice restaurant. The location and surroundings make for an enjoyable experience. There was live music while we were there, too. The food is also very good.
360° amazing experience food was super delicious fresh locally sourced, service was great
The view is absolutely unbeatable and the decor is stunning. The food is upscale bar food, but perfectly prepared. The truffle pizza and salmon sushi were standouts! Don’t miss the drinks either.
We dined with a party of 4 and stayed for about 2 1/2 hours. The table and set up is very comfortable. 2 of the cocktails ordered were way too sweet but that of course is a matter of taste, an old fashioned & espresso martini. When we let them know they had it corrected immediately. We ordered about 10 of the appetizers to share and enjoyed all of them. Feedback given was that the calamari was over cooked and too salty but we still finished the plate without a hitch. The steak spring roll and the turkey slider was a little underdone for some in the group but again, we ate them no problem. We all noticed that the crew was still working to coordinate the service process but overall did a fantastic job. All of us said we'd be happy to brings friends back for dinner & drinks. It is a wonderful experience and would be perfect for special occasions.
The food is very delicious, but it's all small shared plates and they only bring them out one at a time after you've finished each one. We went for lunch and it took two full hours. Also, our drinks took an insanely long time to come to the table even though there were very few customers in the restaurant. Also, the server makes you pay at the table with a mobile card reader. We split the bill three ways (equally) and had to wait while the server hovered over each of us while we tried to figure out tip and wait for receipts to print. I've shared this review directly with the restaurant, so hopefully they'll re-evaluate and make some changes before their grand opening. Basically, it's lovely but don't come if you're in a hurry (especially for lunch).
Green pea hummus was excellent, but not enough pita.
Mozzarella Basil pizza was good not great. Had better.
Fries and beef sliders were great.
The music was loud , but everything else was great.
The experience was everything I hoped for. The staff is amazing from the moment you arrived. The elevator ride is breath taking as you look through the glass windows to get a view of city on your ride to the 60th floor. When arriving to the 60th floor, you are blown away by the design of the hotel lobby, restaurant and view of the city. The staff is once again, amazing. The food was delicious and reasonably priced however, the cocktails are a bit expensive (as city cocktails are). I will return for the amazing experience again.
My family and I had a very pleasant dining experience at JG Skyhigh. The dining space is very open with incredible views all around. Overall, great experience!
Amazing food, that was only overshadowed by the amazing views. My wife and I split a pizza, a dip, and the caviar app. Such a great meal. The wine was also really good.
Our server was polite and knowledgeable of the menu and food.
JG SkyHigh exceeded my expectations. I took my father for his birthday. We both had a wonderful experience.
Excellent venue. Excellent Food. Very nice service.
Excellent food and service. The views were amazing. The ginger margarita was to die for.
I love the atmosphere at this place - beautiful view of the city from the 60th floor! I ordered mostly small plates and had a fabulous meal. All dishes were simple yet filled with so much flavor. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family as an upscale spot to grab a quick bite and a great cocktail.
Great food, great view, great ambience, and great staff! They were very attentive and professional!
Great atmosphere, service, and food (tapas portions)! There was only one hiccup, it took longer than usual to prepare our pizzas. However, the staff was very apologetic and communicated the cause of the delay.
I will definitely come back, especially for the tacos and cucumber gin martini!
Dining at JG SkyHigh was an incredible experience. Starting from the ride up the elevator that looks over the city to the beautifully appointed interiors of the bar to the incredibly attentive service staff, every bit of that experience felt luxurious
Drinks - they have some great wines and the staff is very knowledgeable about wines and great at recommending wines based on our tastes. The cocktails were probably the best that I've ever had, especially the ginger margarita
Food - They were all small plates but adequate quantity to be able to enjoy the food. The flavors were on all dishes exquisite and were flavored just right. The dips were very tasty and came with a thick pita unlike what I've had before. Probably the most delicious piece of pita that I've ever had
I was fortunate to be included in the pre-opening and am so excited for this restaurant to officially open on August 12! The services was wonderful (over-indexed on attentiveness as there were intentionally only a few tables seated for the pre-opening). The food options were small plates - we ordered four dishes and all were delicious and reasonably priced for such an upscale venue. The views of Philadelphia from all angles was spectacular and the ambiance was a great mix of luxury and comfort. Very anxious to go back!
