   Last evening, my wife and I along with another couple had dinner at the Weaversville Inn, 6916 Weaversville Rd, Northampton. To our surprise there were very few people in the dining room. To begin, the temperature in the restaurant was, simply put, cold. I noted that one group of diners were sitting with their coats on. We ordered a round of cocktails and then ordered a cup of soup. One comment made by my friend was how ironic it was that you could call a soup "cream of lobster" when there was no lobster in the bowl. We all ordered the Jagersnitzel for our entree. What seemed an eternity passed from when the soup cups were removed and the entrees were delivered. Three dinner platters were finally brought to the table but the fourth arrived almost 10 minutes later! In my case both the vegetable of the day (broccoli and carrots) and rice arrived cold. The breaded pork was barely warm. The rice tasted like it was nothing more than Rice-a Roni right from the box. When the fourth dinner arrived, the meat was hot but the vegetables and rice were stone cold. Needles to say, we all felt this restaurant was a major disappointment and we will certainly not be returning. It was a lousy dinner especially considering both the bill and tip amounted to just under $150.00.
