Such a lovely find for a weekend away. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. The atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant was bright yet cosy and intimate. The food was outstanding in every way. Incredible flavours and modern presentation made for an adventure with each course. The flavour highlight for me was the banana ice cream with salted hazelnuts!

What a wonderful hidden gem in Cirencester! We had a lovely lunch to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. The staff were charming, incredibly polite and attentive and made us feel very welcome. Each of us had a perfectly cooked and very delicious starter and main course. The puddings were also excellent and the wine list very good. A bonus was that Jessie's is dog friendly. We'll definitely be back: a great find!

I love this little resturant. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. Lots of local ingredients used, it's a foodie's delight. We once took some fussy friends who thought Cirencester was "a hole" and had nowhere decent to eat! Needless to say they have changed their minds after declaring that Jessie's did the "best lamb ever". Go try it for yourself.

The visit was a disappointment. The bistro atmosphere was good and the general decor perfectly acceptable. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. The menu choice was also good. However, my own steak arrived on a cold plate, and the actual meat was hardly warm. I sent it back and it was re-presented on a nicely hot plate, thought the steak itself had hardly received that treatment. The only addition to the actual 'meat' course was 'chips' - and some 'green' leaves! The 3 steaks all had this offering as standard; the fourth meal (pork) had no further addition at all! This is just not acceptable given the price been charged. There was no offer of any accoutrements, which had to be asked for. My overall impression was one of total 'pretension'. The pricing is outrageous for the quality and presentation. At a bare minimum, I would expect some alternative to chips, and a small selection of fresh vegetables. Central London easily provides much higher/better quality at half the price - as my daughter reported having eaten in Leicester Square the previous week! I expect wine prices to be marked up in restaurants, but not to the extent they were here! Overall, as I said at the outset, - a real disappointment, particularly as it was a birthday outing for the family, so one we shall not be repeating. Sadly, it does seem that some restaurants believe high prices automatically means a great experience; this is not the case in this instance.

Fantastic food and service. We had a very late lunch/ early dinner on a Sunday in January so understandably quiet. Looking forward to going back as need to try more on the mouth watering menu
