About Jerry's Bar
Jerry's menu is anchored by thoughtfully re-imagined bistro classics lovingly prepared by hand. Our bar is impeccably stocked - craft beer, boutique wines, a formidable whiskey selection and exquisite spirits. We offer cocktails as classic as they are inventive.
Like the food and drink, Jerry's itself was rebuilt, brick by brick, by craftsmen with a profound respect for heritage. It incorporates a rich collection of architectural treasures, culled from historic buildings around Philadelphia. The result - old school elegance and refinement, where every brick, column, cobble stone, marble slab, door and fixture has a story to tell.
Jerry's Bar is new in an old way, to be savored and sipped slowly, rooted in simple pleasures that are as fresh as they are timeless.

Jerry's Bar Ratings and Reviews
Jerry's Bar shouldn't be a secret however if it is it's the best kept in Philly! We celebrated a family birthday and were more than pleased with the ambiance the service and most importantly the food... which was absolutely scrumptious! Please go and see what Jerry's Bar is all about
Fabulous brunch! The music was low key - just enough to hear, but didn’t disturb conversation. Order anything with Jerry in it’s name - sure to please! Our server Lexi was great - food & drinks arrived in a timely fashion but she didn’t interrupt conversation. Parking can be a bear so wear walking shoes.
We are going again - very soon!
We were seated on the outdoor patio with tables so close together we could not move without bumping into our neighbors or the table. Servers could not fit between tables to serve guests so we had to hand each other food and drinks. The heaters were way too hot. Food wasn't so great.
This was our first visit and a new find in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. We just moved into the area. Disappointed in the delivery of food. My meal never came until after my husband was finished. I'm generally ok with things like this, the waitress offered me a beer, but I declined. But her comment "sorry but sometimes these things happen, you know" felt insincere. I always like to give a place a second chance so we will go again. Hoping for a better experience. Seemed like it could be a decent local place.
Invited a table of six friends. Servers and staff were pleasant enough. Menu was okay for bar food but not well prepared. (Two sandwiches came out still frozen inside and were inedible.) They did bring out another properly cooked sandwich and a substituted item well after everyone else had finished eating. Should have made substitutes a priority in the kitchen and taken both off the bill but instead only offered comped drinks, which no one wanted at that point in the evening. Live music was a plus but the two performers were way too loud for the space. Still, it is a nice space in a good location and these are things that can be fixed longer term. I'd give the place a second try but more for drinks first and meal second.
The food here isn't particularly inventive, but it is incredibly delicious. I had the lamb special (enormous portion!). It was absolutely scrumptious. Service was friendly. Timing was excellent. If Jerry's was more conveniently located for us (Center City), then we would go here regularly.
We love Jerry's. Its usually our go to brunch spot. Parking is non-existent, but that's not on Jerrys.
However, this is the second time in a row that the food was just ok. Poached eggs over cooked. Potatoes somewhat burned. Bread pudding cold...
I really didn't want to leave the review but since they changed the menu...meh.
Good restaurant gone bad. Came here all the time but took a break after they got a new chef and decided to give it another shot this past weekend. Fail! Bad food, bad drinks, bad service.... and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves... so we must not be the only people boycotting Jerry’s.
This was not my first time at Jerry's Bar and in previous visits I have loved everything about it. This time was not the same. It was NYE and they weren't overcrowded or dead and getting our first round of drinks took a while and then getting our check was a challenge. Our waitress went MIA near the end of the dinner and I had to go ask another waitress if she could get our check for us.
We’ve been here before. Last time was nice. This time the service sucked! Waiter was very slow in taking the order. He was very inattentive, never came back to see if food came out satisfactory. Had to find him to get toast and salad that was supposed to come with food. Not to mention, the appetizer came out after the food COLD. We had to send the appetizer back three times!!!! Finally came back hot. Then had to go look for the manager, who appeared to be partying, really. She offered dessert on the house. Really, no thanks. The food was just ok but this will be our last time here.
We were allowed to book a 3 pm reservation and upon arrival at 3 pm were told by the hostess that the kitchen was just about to start turn over to the dinner menu from Brunch and that we could sit at the bar for an hour and maybe order oysters or a cheese board but that was all that was available until 4 pm. We had plans so we were unable to stay and wait. I wish that they had not allowed us to book the reservation We were highly disappointed.
Usually, I've enjoyed coming to Jerry's but this brunch was almost a comedy of errors - almost no one's food came out correctly, drinks came out late (some of which were wrong) and the server kind of disappeared on us for a while. We were charged on the bill for things we never got and despite all these issues, we weren't really comped anything. Kind of an overall disappointing experience. Next time, I'll just sit at the bar and hope that bartender service is better.
My friends and I found this place by chance when googling brunch places in the city. We have gone to all of the small restaurants and cafes in that area and never knew that Jerry's was tucked away in that neighborhood. The two piece jazz ensemble was the perfect touch for a casual Sunday brunch.
we've been to Jerry's before and enjoyed it, so we brought some business clients.
our appetizers were great.
BUT, my husband ordered a burger, and he couldn't eat it. I tasted it, it tasted like the meat had gone bad. We didn't want to make a fuss in front of the clients, so we said nothing.
also I had the beet salad- not impressed at all. not many beets at all.
Make sure to confirm your menu selection with your server! I ordered an entree off of my menu but only stated the protein, "salmon." When our meals arrived, they brought a salmon dish out but it wasn't what I ordered. It turns out, we had been given old menus with discontinued entrees listed. So the salmon dish I had ordered (which featured salmon and crab meat over risotto) had been replaced with a seafood broth dish. It was okay... just not something I would have selected if I had the correct menu.
My friend and I dined here on a Tuesday evening for the first time. We had an incredible time and cannot wait to return. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their food, drinks and upcoming events. The space is absolutely beautiful with an organic flow. I love that the tables are not close together, high ceilings and lots of light. The music that was played set an incredible vibe. We tried a few things on the menu, from raw oysters to the chef's bites and pierogies. All were DELISH!! The signature cocktails were stellar. Our goal is to try everything on the menu!! I am so excited to come back for brunch on a cold Sunday and warm up with a signature cocktail, and live music. If you have not been to Jerry's Bar, please add it to your list. You will not be disappointed!!!
The drinks were great! Hubby had an espresso Stout, I had Last Bombilla. The tuna appetizer was much bigger than we expected. It tasted good, but the fish should have been sliced thinner. I had a broccoli Reuben. It was just ok. He had a burger but they didn't bring it exactly the way he asked for it. He just didn't want cheese, but they left off the onions too. Oops. But our waitress was fantastic!
