Jerry’s Andersonville Ratings and Reviews
I have dined here several times, only because of proximity to my kids. Highly touted sandwiches are meager sized and average taste at best. And the service! EVERY TIME I've been here, at least one order in my group was completely screwed up. A BIG thumbs DOWN for Jerry's.
I am here at least once a month and the food is always good. Its so hard to pick exactly which sandwich to have. The service is usually always great (it always depends on the server). Beers-a-plenty and whiskey for days, you'll always be able to find a drink here.
Went with the girlfriend and had a wonderful experience (as we always do). Fast, friendly, attentive server. Great beer list with interesting things to try as always. Overwhelming number of choices of delicious sandwiches to choose from. My only disappoint was the southwestern potato salad-- might just be me, but I was expecting something more creamy and with more southwest flavor (it was mostly just dill). Everything else was amazing: the veggie burger my gf got, the buffalo chicken that I got, the pickled veggies (favorite side of all time), the house made chips. One of my favorite aspects of Jerry's is the 6oz taste for beers so you get to try more; and it's reasonably priced! Can't wait to sit on their back patio this summer!
The food and beer menus are intimidating at first glance because they seem endless. But the staff knows their selections and is always eager to make suggestions based on your tastes. Service can be spotty during busy weekend lunch and dinner hours, but it's always friendly. Great options for folks with restricted diets, too. Menu is clearly marked for vegetarians and vegans, and for celiac they have extensive gluten-free options.
The bartenders know their stock. Lots of cool info on beers you have never heard of before.
