It was just terrible food ... my husband returned his meal because it was over salty. His salmon , risotto and spinach was just salt overpowering the whole meal. I ordered gnocchi and it was claimed it was hand crafted sauce , sadly it was nothing more than a prego taste sauce with 3 shrimps. Not flavors i am looking for when i go to eat . We wanted to try something new and it was a total waste of money and time . If you plan to go there make some changes in your plans the food is terrible . I dont mind to pay lots of money for a good meal this is not the place for you if you like good meals.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience! Our Server, Vincenzo was knowledgeable of the menu and very accommodating. We ordered pizza, which I highly recommend! I also recommend the chocolate gelato!
Food was outstanding! The service lacked polish, however, as the server brought the dinner while we were in the middle of our salads, and the wait for my dessert was so long that I ended up canceling it. The server was pleasant, however, just seemed less than attentive to the details that would be expected from an upscale restaurant. All things considered, we would go back again.
Our experience at Jerry's was great. Chuck our server was full of energy and very informed. He checked on us many times to make sure all was good and if we needed anything. I had a question about the history of Jerry's and he told Frank the manager. He came over to our table and was more than friendly. We talked about many things we had in common like being from Philadelphia. Will definitely make it a regular place we eat at.
We had reserved a table for 6:00 PM and arrived a few minutes early, but were promptly seated. After being seated and given our menus. we had to wait about 5 minutes before someone came over and asked if we had been asked for our drink order, which we hadn't. He said he would get our server over, but that still took a few minutes. After taking our drink order and dinner order, everything proceeded smoothly. Our before dinner drinks arrived quickly, and my martini was excellent! We were served warm bread, butter, and dipping sauce, which were also good. I had a salad (al a carte) and although it was very good, I think a top end restaurand like this should have offered fresh ground pepper for the salad, so I used the pepper shaker on the table. Our meals were excellent! My wife had the sole and I had linquini with white clam sauce. We both had desserts: my wife had the creme brulee, which she said was also excellent, and I had the espresso with gellato and chocolate shavings, which was also excellent. Over all, I give the meal a 92.5. We'll be back for anothe special occasion!
Thank you for the birthday cake !! Was sooooo good!
The waiter was very good. The food and martini was nothing special. Sauce was bland. The meatball was good.
Food was good. Antipasto tray and Supli appetizers were delicious. Parmesan risotto was outstanding. My veal satlimbucco was missing the prosciutto, friend’s penne was gummy. Martinis were excellent but took a long time to get. Service sub par. Utensils were taken with our appetizer plates and never replaced for our dinner. No one came back to see if our dinner was prepared/served properly. Had to ask the waiter to stop as he flew by us to get more bread. People were waiting for tables and the one next to us sat with soiled plates for over 30 minutes. Appeared as if the “regulars” were treated favorable and the rest of the guests were a nuisance. When I made the reservation I noted that we were celebrating a birthday. No one at the establishment acknowledged this. For the price point, I expected better service. Definitely need to up the game.
A beautiful renovation. A lovely space. The food was passable. I am a meatball snob and found the famous meatball to be not too bad. The sauce was lacking, which would’ve helped the meatball more. Menu had a nice variety. What really brought down the whole experience was service. We had an early reservation and service was good initially, but once it started getting busy, service fell apart. We waited over 20 mins for cannoli and another 40 mins to pay the bill. This place has potential. Some upgrades to computers and more efficient kitchen/bar could improve everything. I hope the bugs get worked out.
BEST MEATBALL EVER!!!! Everything else was great too!
My friends and I decided to try Jerry Longo's and it exceeded our expectations! It was the best meal out I've had in a long time. The meatball and spaghetti were amazing. The service was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend and have already been singing your praises. Keep it up.
Everything was fine service, taste of food, location. except one thing the presentation of the lunguine and was not good . The pasta was broken in little pieces. Good flavor. But the pasta need to be long not cut and short like a soup. Sorry for the complaint I’m just being honest. I will be back.
I will never go back! Totally bush league. There was only horrible service, food and atmosphere. I predict they'll be in business for about 6 months.
Nice place...food ok but the wait staff was awesome and the manager came out and spent a lot of time talking with us! Great customer service!
Good food. Small portions
Ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was very good. Wine selection is very nice. Cannot, however, recommend Veal Marsala served with risotto—veal was chewy and sauce was bland. The risotto was very good. Linguini with white clam sauce was also bland. Complimentary tiramisu was a nice touch to celebrate a birthday. Will visit the restaurant again and give it another chance.
Service and food were excellent little noisy as we were in a casino
Waited 50 mins after being served our drinks. Never saw the appetizer or our main course. Manager was nice about it. But didn’t even get to try the food.
AMAZING Meatballs but the rest was ok. Inconsistent martinis. Famous lemon cake was unavailable.
Great food and atmosphere! Meatball salad excellent as was the drinks
Fabulous new restaurant at Dover Downs. Will be a favorite!
