   This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I want to share my experience. Friday, July 7, 2023. It was my bf birthday and he wanted jerk. I went on the site on Wednesday to make reservations for Friday night at 8:30. When we finally got parking, had to valet at another restaurant after driving around for 30 minutes, we arrived at the restaurant at 8:27. We were met by 2 security guards who told us we had to be searched, and a lady had me open my purse and look through it. Now mind you we are in our early 50's and were not dressed like the other patrons (no shade). We were told they had no seating. I told them I had an 8:30 reservation and had to bring it up on my phone to show them, but was told they were told by their supervisor they don't do reservations. They finally let us in and we walked to the back. There were tables galore available so I don't get it, but we asked a young lady if she could clean off our table and she brought us menus and our waiter came over and took our drink and food order. The wait wasn't too long. It was crowded as it was a Friday night. We observed the front door and no one was being stopped and frisked as we were. Ok. Our food came and it was very nice size and tasted good. As we are almost done eating, my bf asked the waiter for to go boxes. The waiter told us their system was down and you could only pay by cash or cashapp. Well, neither of us had that amount of cash on us, just so happened I had cashapp. The waiter told me he would help locate the information, which was actually his personal name and cashapp, which was weird, but I paid it. I gave him a cash tip. My bf asked for a receipt and pointed out to me that a service fee was already on the receipt??? I have just never experienced, first security guards at a restaurant and being frisked before I pay money to eat. The cashapp thing was weird too. I guess now we know if we ever decide to go back what to expect.

   Took a while to get acknowledged by the server. The drinks were $$$ yet weak. We got up to use the restroom and they threw our to-go containers and drinks away. It was very noisy, more of a sports bar vibe.

   Overall, the food was great however the server never gave us utensil and was not very attentive. Also, the people bringing the food out need to smile or stay home because they look very unpleasant. I don’t like to patronage a spot and the workers feel as though they are doing me a favor. Although, the food was good I would never dine in again only take out. I refuse to waste a tip on poor service.

   It was the worst service I ever received in my life. I’m out with my wife for mother’s day dinner. I waited two hours for my food. I ordered salmon she ordered lamb chops and they told me they only have one grill and chicken is the priority so why have it on the menu. The management did not accommodate me. I will never spend my money here again. Steer away bad service bad business!

   Fantastic jerk chicken, that is a must have. The mac and cheese was surprisingly good as well.

   The service was extremely slow, waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered. It took forever to get our food it when we finally got it, it was good. Made a to go order during the dinner & once the waitress received the payment for the bill she was never seen again, we had to ask two different people where our to go order was. Unfortunately I will not not be back here, service was bad & it took forever to get the food & it wasn’t even busy, waitress is lucky the gratuity was included in the bill

   I had the worst experience here. One our waiter had the worst attitude and it was only like 6 or 7 tables occupied with two waiters and one bartender ( who was also the manager). It took forever to get drinks and then when my food came out it was horrible it was such a small portion compared to everyone else who ordered the same thing. I sent it back it took 40 minutes to bring out another plate which looked the exact same. When asked to see the manager he was extremely unhelpful. I will not be returning I shared my thoughts on social media and everyone chimed in and said this was the same experience they had. They are over priced, small portions, horrible service, plus they charge 20% gratuity that’s not even worth the service. I will never ever ever return to this establishment in my life. DON’T GO HERE EVER EVER EVER
