It’s a lovely, intimate spot with warm service, impeccable and gorgeous food, and just the right quantity to leave you full. On the current menu the mussels, tartare, scallop, skate, and both desserts were outstanding. They made excellent substitutions for pescetarians too. Jeong is one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago.

FANTASTIC! Hidden gem in West Town, amazing ambiance as soon as you arrive, the food was divine. Excellent for romantic birthday dinner and complimentary bday cupcake. In particular the hi-chew ice cream dessert was unbelievable. Menu changes quarterly so go asap!

Dishes were all very creative and tasty. During our visit (Nov 2023) there were a lot of seafood dishes which were all fresh. Cocktails were tasty and interesting as well. Lighting in the restaurant is on the darker side in case you want to take pictures or are dining with others who like to be able to see exactly what they're eating.

Everything about our experience at Jeong was exquisite. Jeong is elegant and comfortable. Each dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious. The service is warm and gracious. Such a delightful experience.

We made an evening reservation, and were a bit late but they were incredibly accommodating. Service was fantastic, very attentive but not overwhelming, and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Food here will blow your mind away. Music could be a little bit loud but it’s better because you don’t hear the noise from the other tables. Really intimate and absolutely wonderful experience!

Jeong came highly recommended by a friend who worked as a chef before retiring. It completely delivered on his high praise. The food is carefully orchestrated so that each serving builds on the one that came before and also points the way to what's coming next. It's difficult to pick a favorite dish given how they're all intertwined to create a special dining experience. Top marks!

A truly special and memorable fine dining experience hosted by the most lovely owner Jen. Co-hosted by the kindest and knowledgeable team, and cooked by the most excellent chef Dave. We love this place- they have become family as this go where we go for our birthdays. Honestly, it became a tradition by accident but because of the attention to details and the fact there is no other restaurant cuisine that time and time again leaves us speechless, there is no where else we even want to go now. Our waitress Kelly was outstanding, everything was impeccibly crafted and the coursing was very well paced. I find that tasting menus I am either stuffed or starving by the end and this was perfect. Thank you to the entire team!

Once again, it was a fabulous meal and experience overall. My parents were in town, and after having been there about 10 times and raving about it, they made me take them there. Amazing food and service! Very innovative and delicious tasting menu with creative cocktail options as well as a good sake/wine selection. The staff were all very friendly and informative, and each dish was a pleasant surprise. We were both full without feeling stuffed afterwards and I felt the price was fair given the high quality of the experience.

Nice ambience. Had a chic Asian feel. Service was good. The wine was the highlight. Not lengthy wine list, but thoughtful, and fairly priced. The food was disappointing and slightly bizarre. This is supposed to be a Korean restaurant, but if I had covered my eyes and did not know where I was going, I would have had no clue it was Korean. I would have guessed Euro-American. The presentation was great. But the mussels and another seafood course were not fresh. The scallop was well cooked, but the sauce was weird and blah. No taste. The wagyu beef was well cooked but had absolutely no taste. I very rarely complain, but this place is clearly not worth the high tab.
