   This by far the best meal I have had in a National Park! Being in a National Park the prices are controlled. The equivalent meal in Jackson Hole would be at least 1.5x the price paid for Jenny Lake. The wine selection was reasonable and very tasty. We will return.

    Well, we had a wonderful gay exploring the area, and had a 1:00 pm reservation. We called to say we would be 5 minutes late and the receptionist said, no problem, but we do not seat after 1:10. We arrived at 1:04 to a fairly lengthy walk-in line. Nonetheless, they moved us to the front, we sat and experuthe “end of the shift” attitude deterioration. Only the receptionist was friendly, everyone else was not. And they clearly wanted us out asap. We left at 1:55 pm. …Despite spending about $200 on food, drinks and tip…

    The service was gracious, helpful and very friendly but for the over $300 tab for dinner for two with 3 drinks, it was way overpriced. Specifically, the salmon confit appetizer, and braised bison short ribs and confit poussin entrees tended towards being underseasoned and bland. On a positive note, the burrata salad and "chicken pot pie" style soup, and finally, the bananas foster dessert combination were all tasty and great. Still...over $300 including tip is a lot to pay for dinner for two in a National Park setting and we found better options nearby at the Signal Mountain Lodge at Trapper Grill.

    Had lunch with my wife at a window table staring at the Tetons! Excellent food, warm, knowledgeable and excellent service (Thanks Charles!!). Spent $60 on a fine lunch for 2 including beer. Very fair price fir the ambience, view, fine food and service

    My wife and I were really looking forward to an exceptional evening of fine dining at Jenny Lake Lodge. What we got was just fine, but not Fine Dining. While the atmosphere is definitely charming and rustic, the dining experience overall was just mediocre. The service was relaxed (sometimes a bit too relaxed) and the food - a five course price fixe menu - was fair to good, but never rose to the level of delicious. I had the Chicken Satay as my appetizer - the chicken "chunks" were tender and moist but the sauce tasted like someone opened a can of Skippy Peanut Butter and poured it over the top. The Curry Soup was actually dreadful and tasted like someone just dumped some raw curry powder in a stock of coconut milk and chicken broth. The signature "Jenny Lake Salad" was a ring of two-day old assorted wilted lettuces ringed around a "Lake" of cloyingly sweet dressing. It was old and uninspiring. I selected the Duck Breast as my main course, and it is the first time in my dining career that I was not able to finish a piece of duck breast - it was so tough that I don't think a light saber could get through it - so I just gave up. The finale was the "Clump of Cheesecake" served with a berry sauce so sweet it would send a healthy person into a diabetic coma. To make matters worse (and yes, it could get worse), the wine list was uninspired and anemic. It was evidently curated by someone who seemed more interested in offering a small selection of wines that appealed to a limited palate instead of finding wines that thoughtfully paired with the menu - so we passed on ordering any wine with dinner (also a very rare situation for us). All in all, we found the setting delightful and the dining experience challenging. If you're going for "Fine Dining" be aware that you will be fortunate if it is "Just Fine."

    When I made my reservation well in advance I was given a price if $100 per person for a five course dinner. The day of the dinner. I received an email letting me know it was now $115. This is not the way to run a business. Almost like unarmed robbery. I recommend that buyer beware off this somewhat shady behavior

    Had no idea when we went it was a 5 course tasting menu. That being said, we just went with it and tried all kinds of new things. The food was amazing. Perfect portion sizes. The service was impeccable. My husband loved the Niçoise salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the trout. Dessert was decadent and generous. They gave us extra warm chocolate chip cookies to go.     We had a reservation for lunch. It was wonderful. They were able to satisfy a window overlooking the Tetons and a meadow. I ordered blue cheese dressing on the side and it arrived with ranch on the side. I didn’t complain but when I was offered more dressing they did deliver blue cheese!

    Had the bison burger and beef cheeseburger. They were just ok. We asked the hostess for a window seat and she said there were none available. It was obvious there was one available but she didn’t want to take the time to have it cleaned. Our waiter seemed very rushed and not interested in answering any of our questions. Not a very friendly staff. Don’t think we will be returning.
