Service was excellent. Reservations were easy and confirmation was quick and easy. One of our "regular" dining stops.
Great food (chicken sandwich) ! Nicely toasted bread and a little spicy chicken and cabbage Inside. Great taste beer (southern juice: hazy IPA) ! Great ambient (roof top table with beach ambrella big enough overlooking downtown alpharetta) ! Great friendly staff ! I will definitely recommend for casual lunch and dinner and come back again ! Thanks guys at restaurant!!
We had brunch...food was great...donuts and chef's omelet were fantastic!
Delicious food in a great location
We love it here. But the service is so bad. Like so bad. It’s frustrating. The food is fantastic. I just have to check my expectations at the door.
We really loved the beer & atmosphere! The food was good (crab dip, Lite Bowl, wings, Beet Salad, and Coastal Chicken). We love this location too! We will be back for sure!!!
We went for a birthday celebration but ended up leaving after ordering one drink. By “drink” I mean a $12 glass of simple syrup and juices. That took over 15 mins to get to the table. I told them to take it off and I would just pay for the overpriced appetizer. We got a table upstairs and it was so hot and the noise level was so loud I was legit yelling at the person next to me and could not hear anything they were saying. This place would greatly benefit from some noise canceling elements on the ceiling. When I checked out the server let me know my ticket was higher because they automatically included 20% tip? For a party of three I asked? He said we immediately add a 20% for any ticket. Ummm ok? The restaurant itself is fine and the staff was accommodating. Everything else is a hard pass.
The upstairs is incredibly loud. You can't hear the person next to you speak.
But our biggest issue was our waitress. She delivered a wedge salad with shrimp to one of the women in our party, when a beet salad with shrimp was ordered. When we asked for the correct salad the waitress looked at my friend and said "Well can't you just eat this?"
My friend was so frazzled from the statement that she took the salad. Needless to say she left the restaurant hungry.
Service was great…food was good…noise level was a bit too loud
In town for a conference this weekend and at out every night. Only restaurant with cramped seating and servers not in masks during current covid surge
Very nice place with great IPA beer. Great outdoor verandah. Perfect for friends’ get together. Service was ok, food was delicious.
First time here last night, and we Loved it! Got there early on a Saturday night at 6pm and stayed for hours! Caught the sunset on the patio. The energy changed when the sun went down. The temps were cooler which felt amazing, like a Fall night with cocktails under the moon and stars. The only downside to the experience, it rained shortly after we arrived, so we had to move indoors (upstairs) and the noise level was incredibly loud. The food was amazing but sitting next to each other feeling like we had to yell to hear one another. But overall, great atmosphere, service, food, and beverages.
First time here. Great, almost beach-like atmosphere. Friendly staff, great food. Be sure to check out the Airstream on the top level.
Always a great time! No matter who I go with, family or friends, Jekyll is always great food, great service and a great time. We sat on the top floor for brunch to celebrate my dad's 82nd birthday and it was delicious! The indoor outdoor air stream trailer bar is so cool and the view of downtown Alpharetta is amazing! The spicy Bloody Mary's are delicious and my husband loves the beer selection! Crawfish hush puppies and crab dip were perfection! Oh and the homemade warm donuts INCREDIBLE! We all enjoyed our food. We collectively had gumbo, low country benedicts, wagu burgers, wings, and a chicken sandwich. Definitely one of my favorite downtown Alpharetta hang outs!
very good food and great beer...sat outside, very nice but a little buggy
Our server was friendly and funny, food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Fairly neat place, but the service wasn't great. Our waiter was nice, but slow. They could use some fans too because It got stuffy. The falafel with sweet potato hummus was very good, and my friend enjoyed the salmon quinoa bowl. I like that they offer small flights of beer too.
First visit to Jekyll Brewing and wasn't overly impressed; we sat the at the downstairs bars and it hadn't been wiped since the previous customers left. We had a 12:30 reservation, which we kept, and opted to sit at the bar rather than a community table for 8 (there were just the two of us). We had a couple of drinks and oysters on the half shelf so I am not rating the food. We won't be going back anyway as we didn't like the place very much.
This is a great place. The beer is outstanding , the food is excellent and the service was perfect. Such a fun place. We will be back!!!
Great place to go in downtown Alpharetta. Staff is super friendly. The beer and food are great! You won’t be disappointed here.
Great ambiance! Beer was outstanding! Crab dip appetizer very good as was shrimp and grits entree. Spicy chicken sandwich was good but NOT spicy. I love a good Nashville hot chicken sandwich and although ordered hot it was not. Had we been asked how are good was we would have told them so. Staff was working very very hard. They are very young. Something was just off with the service. We will be back again as the restaurant is a very cool vibe.
Food was great and drinks were even better! Even the musician, Steve, was great fun!
I've always loved Jekyll's craft beers but I was pleasantly surprised with their excellent food and service. Perfect for a casual night out in Alpharetta.
Jekyll was a great find. The food was really good, as was the service. I liked the choices of beers they offered. Although we did not use it, the roof top dining area looked great. I highly recommend it
Beautiful décor, open and light space upstairs. Had some good beers and great burgers! Service was excellent. Will be back.
Fun place to take out-of-town guests. We like to eat local.
Nice restaurant. Food and service good. I can't give it 5 stars because they don't serve wine.
We went to brunch for Fathers Day. We were seated quickly, service was prompt throughout, and everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Our only complaint was the portions:price ratio. We felt that it was a bit overpriced for a breakfast meal that didn’t include any sides. For example, our medium sized omelets didn’t come with the typical potatoes, fruit, or biscuit that most restaurants provide. Essentially, we all left still feeling hungry.
Nice location and great service. Beer was good.
Everything seemed over-salted. The crawfish hush puppies tasted like fried dough. No sense of any shellfish. Service forgot multiple items throughout the evening. Waited a bunch for things.
Food was good, a little pricey for bar food however. Waiter had an attitude and we sat for 20 minutes before we could put in an order.
Server disappeared when we finished eating. Took 20 mins to pay the check.
The food was bad all around. My rice in my meal was pretty much raw, and the rest of our party had issues with their food. Not worth the price at all.
Great night out- our server was friendly and efficient
Food was very tasty
Lite bowl w chicken and Mussels
Food was bad and very expensive . Waste of money we will not be going back !
Really enjoyed eating here. Food was great and atmosphere was really nice.
Expected nondescript bar food in a nondescript setting. Nope! Instead a uniquely fun setting and surprisingly good food and service. Will definitely return.
Upstairs is the worst place to have a reservation because the acoustics are awful. You can’t hear the person sitting next to you. We sat up there last time and it was miserable. This time the placed us up there and we ended up forfeiting our reservation and going somewhere else.
Great food, beer, and service, helpful host staff. We’ll keep going back!
Outside seating and service was grear
