Absolutely perfect dinner!! The steak was remarkable and sooo flavorful. Christina was an excellent server and her wine knowledge was impressive and accurate. Highly recommend!!
Fabulous food, great service. Overall a great dining experience. Steak was tender and flavorful. Seafood risotto was great. Chocolate soufflé was an espresso rush. Service was was attentive but not obtrusive.
We celebrated our 16th anniversary at Jeffrey’s and as usual, we had a fantastic dinner, get wine pairing recommendations and flawless service.
This restaurant is perfect for out of town guests and special occasions,
Outstanding all the way around. Perfect anniversary dinner
Very good food with reasonable prices but a lot of table squeezed in a small space.
This place is hands down the finest dining in Austin. Sunday half priced wine list is a cool feature
Loved everything - food, romantic setting, service, etc., etc., etc.!!
Service , food and wine were superb ! Definite repeat !
This was our third Wedding Anniversary @ Jeffrey's. In contrast to the first two, which were memorable
and enjoyable experiences, the celebration of our fifty-eighth was disappointing for the following reasons:
The Rack of lamb was not commensurate in quality with the $85 price, the reduction sauce was "thin" and tasteless, although it was prepared as specified (Medium Rare) one had to search for the distinctive taste of
"Lamb." My Wife's duck was OK, but not outstanding. Brussel Sprouts were good but had too much sugar.
Tartare was excellent and the wine was a good value. The service was outstanding and personable.
Regret I can't evaluate Jeffrey's in a more favorable light because the previous experiences were excellent. I do understand that a proper "Reduction Sauce" requires hours of preparation, however, I should
have inquired as to your Chef's technique for a "reduction Sauce before ordering...Thanks for asking.
Great ambiance and food, but disappointed in the level of service, especially given the reputation and price point
This was hands down one of the best experiences we have had. Our waitress was AMAZING and we couldn't suggest her enough. She was very engaged with us and just gave us the best suggestions. We cannot wait to go back!
Food & Service excellent! Presentation and promptness great. Our waiter, Austin, was excellent. Fish dishes and wine were pricey but worth the experience.
Molly and team made our dinning experience so very memorable. Excellent attention to every detail. The wine and spirits list was extensive which we appreciated. The food was impeccable! Fabulous presentation and absolutely delicious.
The service at Jeffrey's seems to have declined over the past year or two and on this occasion the food also seems to have declined. My wife and I both ordered steaks which were over-seasoned to the point that they were inedible. We decided not to say anything because I had already been forced to get up and find a server to help us because we had been left for 45 without anybody taking an order for even our appetizers... They had also left us without a drink for 30 minutes because as it turned out the cork had broken in the bottle of wine we ordered, that can happen and I understand, but just leaving us there without an explanation seems impolite to me... The Somm brought us a complimentary dessert which was a lovely and genuinely appreciated gesture, however it was my wife's birthday and nobody had asked our preferences so neither was a dessert that she enjoyed. The Somm offered us a drink on the house however we deferred saying that we would prefer to order another glass of wine when we were ready, glasses of wine which we were then charged for when the bill came. Again! I realize we could have said something in there moment but we really didn't want to be "those customers".
Sadly, this is not the first occasion on which Jeffrey's has disappointed. My wife booked dinner for us there to celebrate my birthday a couple of years ago and had extensive discussions and made arrangements with them via email. Unfortunately when we arrived the person she had worked with was unavailable and the arrangements had not been communicated.
Amazing as always
We were visiting Austin from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there!
Jeffery's has been a favorite since it opened. Noise level is more than I prefer because I'm hard of hearing and my hearing aids, though top notch, can't filter the noise sufficiently. A little annoyance is worth it.
Wonderful food and experience
Always amazing! The food is so delicious.
Always consistently excellent. Great environment. Outstanding service and food. Wonderful Holliday venue. Popovers were perfect. As were the main courses of halibut and steak.
Beautiful ambience, impeccable service, excellent food, attention to detail. Can get a little pricy but worth every penny. We will be back!
A very great experience for food and wine lovers. Superb service.
Extraordinary restaurant. Great food, service & ambiance. Not to miss...
impeccable service with great food in a quiet atmosphere
Wonderful food. Tables are very close to each other.
I thought we were going to an upscale restaurant. Ive been here before, but it has been a while. Apparently management decided to throw the dress code out the window.
Best steaks I have ever had...amazing service...ambiance...top notch.
Another great evening dining experience at Jeffrey's...
The evening started out well with cocktails and an appetizer in the lounge. One we were seating for dinner it went downhill. The services was very slow and the dinning area was extremely hot. We complained no less than 4 times and finally we were told we could be re-seated. This took another 20 minutes and the manager never apologized for the inconvenience.
Beautiful interiors - great ambiance. Server was attentive, overall very good. However, we ordered two sides with dinner, the broccolini, and the leeks. We were contemplating the steak frites, and decided not to get them. However, the server had them sent over "on the house" , which was really nice (and they ended up being the best side). All well and good, until the next morning my husband looks at the check and sees that they actually charged us for the steak frites, and my husband left the guy 30% tip (to make up for the fries) because they said they were "on the house". Obviously I don't care about the extra 10$, but the moral of it. Don't tell us it is on the house, and then charge us for it (and my husband being a good tipper as it is) includes even more for the server bc we thought he did a good thing. Austin has so many great restaurants to explore, though it was enjoyable, the food wasn't to die for (in fact Josephine House) next door is better, though the same owner!
Truly a fantastic dining experience on every level. Superb cocktails, wine list, and food. All made even more enjoyable by wonderful staff and lovely, but relaxed setting. Planning to go back regularly!
Excellent, world-class service and delicious food. It's definitely a splurge to come here, but it is the right spot for a special occasion.
Seating is Too Close to others! No privacy. Steak under cooked & cold.
One of my favorite restaurants in Austin! Always love it here!
Experience was wonderful. Everything was perfect.
Caviar service is divine!
Fabulous!!! Our server was The Best!! Spectacular!
