Everything was great except the Manhattan, which was $16.00+ came in a cocktail glass that was 1/2 full. Waitress said it was a full pour. That was the only negative on an otherwise wonderful dinner and atmosphere.
Ate 2x there. Excellent food. Bartender not very good.
Steak was good but nothing extraordinary. Same with rest of the food. It is delightful to sit outside, however.
Exquisite setting al fresco out on the deck on a gorgeous late summer evening. Wonderful meal...great service. We come to Jeffersons every time we're in the area. Never disappoints.
Very tasty shrimp and grits! Service was terrific, and the ambiance was great! I wish all restaurants had a dress code.
Our dinner was wonderful. Prime Rib was one of the best we’ve had. The sides and homemade ice cream were all great! Our server Coco was professional, attentive and a lot of fun made our meal extra special be sure to ask for her.
Food was good, level of service did not meet expectations or align with menu prices
A culinary disaster! We have dined here several other times and everything was amazing. This time however, everything but the view was a mess. Meals took forever to come out, when they did they were served to the wrong people. Our meal and the neighboring table’s meal were both served to the wrong table, placed on the table allowing those meals to be exposed to those patrons. They were then picked up and re-served to the correct table after we all explained where they belonged. Isn’t that a health concern?
We ordered the lamb chops which are normally perfect. We ordered them rare and they came out well done. The server who started with us disappeared for what seemed like 30 minutes and no one else checked on the entire porch seating area.
Eventually the manger came out to check on what was going on and after a bit of scolding by some patrons he stepped up and corrected the situation. He also comped our meal. Kudos to the manger for recognizing the shortcomings and doing what was right. Just a bad night at Jefferson’s.
Before dining have a drink @Jefferson Terrace. Beautiful views of hotel and grounds. Can eat there, wine bar or inside restaurant. All servers were very attentive and warm. All 3 dining spaces have nice ambiance with 6 large TVs in sports bar area.
Food was over cooked and was slow. Not a good experience.
What a place! Big menu, wonderful service, tasty food, and a super view. I really hope to get back here again.
Lamb burger- exceptional- generous portions and ONE AMAZING STRAWBERRY MOJITO- on the grounds of historic and beautiful Omni Homestead- fire pit heating up for making S’mores- lovely evening
Took over an hour to get our food. When we asked our server she just said our order got stuck behind a big table. Food was fair at best. Not what I expected for a resort of this level and for the prices they charge. Also saw cook touching plated food with bare hands.
Special requests like no onions in salad were ignored. Food was okay but nothing special. Overall experience was okay but was hoping for more.
Slightly overpriced but overall good meal and ambiance and
Very busy, best restaurant at Homestead Resort. Service was prompt, friendly and engaging . Food quality was very good. We both had the Shrimp and Grits, while not truly Cajun in style, it was the best meal we had at the resort.
Absolutely delicious! We came back a second night because we enjoyed the first so much. The fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had. And the bourbon creamed corn side was magical. The weather was lovely so we sat outside, which was much quieter and more enjoyable (the inside was rather noisy).
We loved it!
The grouper was poached and didn't have much flavor. The fried green tomatoes were tasty.
Outstanding time & food was delicious !
Very slow service. Not even half filled.
We've been to the Homestead several times and this is our second time dining at Jefferson's Restaurant.
If you're going to charge $18 for children's spaghetti, it should have more than 2 tiny meatballs. After $36 in pasta and meatballs, our kids left hungry--they're 2 and 5 years old. Otherwise, the adult meals -- beet salad, wedge salad, and salmon were great. That said, I'd go to Sneads 1912 over eating here any day of the week.
Outside has a lovely view of the grounds; inside has a warm, old-fashioned ambiance with lots of fox-hunting art. Get the key lime pie!
Amazing food! Outdoor seating is awesome but the indoor area is beautiful too.
Staff is amazing!! Food is good but expensive.
Crab salad and cowboy ribeye cooked M/R was perfect. Salmon also very good. A little expensive for what you receive, but overall, a very good dinner experience at the Homestead Resort.
Great atmosphere, food sand service. Really enjoyed Jefferson’s
We dined at Jefferson's three times during our recent stay at The Homestead. The kids loved it and the food was out of this world. Everything was wonderful. I knocked off one star on food since I found the prime rib a bit salty for my taste. Overall, you sacrifice nothing in quality choosing Jefferson's over The Dining Room at The Homestead. The relaxed atmosphere at Jefferson's is more appropriate for families with young ones who are not ready for The Dining Room.
The quality of the food did not measure up to the price. Kids menu was nice but pricey. Service was very good.
Normally like this restaurant, but this visit was not worth the cost due to some noise and delay issues.
Good food, great service! More of a family restaurant than a couples restaurant.
We were on a family vacation and booked the Omni for dinner. The atmosphere was inviting and refined. Our server was fantastic. Made great recommendations and even put in our children’s orders early. My husband ordered the duck and I ordered the salmon. Both dishes were delicious. The drink and wine selection was very good and well priced.
Wonderful restaurant! Our server was excellent! We have been here many times and tonight did not disappoint.
I would recommend the restaurant for its ambiance and service but much too expensive.
The Food and service were amazing, the Cowboy Ribeye steak was the best steak I've had in a while
Fyi, this is the first time I have left a review for anything!! Portions were tiny, I ordered lamb chops and got 2 for 38 dollars, I will say they were good. Someone was vacuuming around our table and vacuum actually bumped into my chair while we were still eating. They were only concerned about getting us out of the restaurant. Id recommend going to bed without eating if you cant find anything else.
Excellent food, excellent service! A little pricey but food is worth it
Our server, Ashley, was absolutely amazing. Super service and great good
My friend and I had a delightful dinning experience. Excellent menu options. Top notch service. The food was nice presented and best of all quite delicious. I give high marks and recommend this restaurant.
