The Jeff Ruby’s experience never disappoints! Jon W. was fantastic as our server, Don assisted reliably. Always a pleasure to see Ferris-thanks so much for the Baked Alaska, it was a phenomenal treat for Jayne’s birthday! The Hemingway daiquiri was spot on. The steaks were cooked perfectly as was the lobster. Loved the carrots as a side; marinated in sorghum with whipped ricotta cheese, fresh dill, and savory toasted walnuts-exceeded our expectations. Look forward to our return in the not too distant future. Cheers!

My parents enjoyed their anniversary here and were blown away by the amazing service from the bar to their server Marilyn in the main dining room. The surf and turf was excellent and the steaks were cooked to perfection. They also loved the crab cake. They can’t wait to come back to Lexington to dine at Jeff Ruby’s again!

Expensive but the entrees were amazing, in particular the barrel filet was fantastic. Already planning my next visit. Only downside was that the live music was relatively loud when we arrived but fortunately we ate in a different room.

The service is outstanding and our server was polite and well informed. Jeff Rubys has a upscale chic and fun atmosphere with great live music in the bar area. The food is always top notch. In particular the seafood is fresh flown in daily. It is not inexpensive but well worth the price for quality and attention to detail that everything served is given. Great experience!

Second time steak was not cooked as requested. Last time it was over cooked. This time undercooked. They did not have the wines we requested from the list (3 choices) and did not have several liquors that was on their list. Service was wonderful as usual and appetizers (oysters Rockefeller) and desert was amazing.

Food was awesome as usual but 2 of our plates had chips in the edge. If I’m paying $100 for a steak I don’t want it served on a broken plate. Small thing but when everything else is top notch this flaw really stood out. Service was great!

Took our mothers there for the first time for Mother’s Day and they both loved it. Food and drinks were fantastic! Loved the butter pie and the smoked mango old fashion! Of course service was great too!

Food and service were excellent, as always. We really appreciated the fact that Jeff Ruby’s in Lexington decided to open up for lunch. Ruby’s is where my daughter wanted to go after her graduation from UK and was disappointed that we could not get reservations for dinner as originally planned. I had tried several months in advance and was told reservations were not being accepted because it was both Derby weekend and graduation and our party of 10 (at the time) could not be accommodated. While the size of our party shrunk from 10 to 4 due to the reservation situation and a couple other circumstances, we were thrilled the decision to open for lunch was made…which worked out better for a morning graduation anyway. One person in our party was a first-timer and was thoroughly impressed. Our main server, Ryan, took extra special care of our daughter, the “guest of honor”, and that made an already great day even more fantastic. So THANK YOU!

I love the special occasion lunch hours, I hope they continue these. Makes a day special. Spencer and Mayo did a great job. I do wish there had been lunch specials available as I don’t want a big steak for lunch. I am thrilled that beef tartare is now on the menu. I am so happy you are in Lexington!!!

College Graduation Dinner for my daughter. Excellence does explain how wonderful everything was during our dinner. I only gave a low mark on value ad this is an upscale facility and you need to know that the cost high, but the experience is well worth it.
