Jedediah Hawkins Inn was an amazing experience. The inn itself and the historic atmosphere was beautiful. Our server was terrific and the food was outstanding (I had the duck, my husband had fish). Truly a special place.
Great! Second time here. Staff, service and food excellent. Will definitely return when I am out east
We got married at the Jedidiah Hawkins Inn 10 years ago. The food at that time was fantastic. This time it was just good. The menu was not as eclectic.
Staff was great. Food was great. The property was great. The Jedediah Hawkins Inn is a very special place. We had a great experience celebrating our anniversary. We all came away from dinner feeling that it was a great and memorable night so thank you!
Very beautiful atmosphere and the brunch menu had very fun, eclectic choices. Can't wait to return!
Wonderful outside dinning, friendly staff and delicious food!
A rare indoor meal at JH, we were close to weekly outdoor diners during summer months, but we were not disappointed. Food was delicious, service excellent!
This was amazing! A perfect dinner that brought us back to Napa. The ambiance was so warm and inviting. Every dish was perfection from the crab cake, rack of lamb, duck and the warm chocolate chip cookies ❤️ I think we found our new favorite place.
Lovely fun place with great food.
Perfect for brunch.
Couldn’t get in all summer and deal on the weekends, they were totally booked. Finally we made reservations and got in on Friday night and loved our meal. Great food, atmosphere, service, wine!
Portions were extremely small, scallops had no side, same for the halibut dinner. Harvest salad was delicious.
As usual Jedediah's did not disappoint. We sat outside despite the wind, because the atmosphere was so unique and refreshing. The staff was friendly and helpful. After sunset, they brought us a tall gas heater with a bright red flame (perfect). We enjoyed little pork belly buns and the crab cake. We both wanted to try the crispy duck entrée so we ordered that. The waitress had mentioned fresh local fluke--too good to pass up--so we ordered that too. Everything was delicious. As it got darker the wind picked up a little and we moved to the porch where we enjoyed a fresh ice cream sundae and glasses of Champagne. Perfectly prepared food, well-trained friendly servers, and a movie set! A truly unforgettable experience.
A superior dining experience in a wonderful setting. They need to invest in a few more heat lamps for their outdoor space. Highly recommended. but dress in layers.
My partner & I rank all of our restaurant visits from the time we started dating till now. This place consistently makes number one no matter where else we go. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat. Beautiful setting & delicious food. The staff are so kind and attentive. They never rush you as well. Can’t wait to come back again!
We sat on the patio. The weather was perfect as was the ambience, service, & food. I highly recommend the inn for a most enjoyable lunch.
Sadly one of my favorite spots on the North Fork has lost its luster. Happy to pay for a great meal and great service. We received decent food, service was fair at best. Staff was uninformed of menu, would have had another round or 2 of drinks if the service was prompt. Towards the end of the night staff was moving chairs, walking around without server outfits on etc... All of this is fine, I simply didn't expect this from a place like this. I can't see us returning anytime soon.
Excellent food, very nice outdoor seating area. Service was also great.
Love this place! Quaint and beautiful setting. The food and service were outstanding! Will be back for sure!
My husband and I arrived for our 5:30 reservation. It was a little confusing as to where we had to check in. We were seated after a few minute wait. They very kindly started us with a glass of champagne as on Open Table I had put we were going for our Anniversary. This was our celebration dinner after 35 years of marriage. Service was excellent from the start. We shared the crab cake which was extremely tasty! I had the steamed halibut which was perfectly cooked. My husband had the NY strip. He asked for medium but there was barely any pink so it was more medium well. He enjoyed it as I’ve only recently converted him away from medium well but did say it was cooked a bit more than he liked, We were too full to try dessert. We didn’t linger as not 100% comfortable eating out during COVID but it was a lovely dinner in a beautiful setting. Will definitely return!
Wonderful food, service (Adam from UK) and TY, and lovely hostess during reservation process (Charlotte). Outside was vlovely with fountain/lighting. It was a special dinner.
The food and service were not great. We enjoyed the wine. Would not go back.
Especially during the current atmosphere of Covid, this restaurant provides a beautifully quiet and serene outdoor patio dining experience. Staff are attentive and very polite. Excellent food and wine Choices are plenty. A great place to enjoy with friends
Amazing food and drinks
The Cod was Atlantic fresh, both light and tasty. The ambience was perfect. My guest said that she felt she was transported back to the 19th century with all its finery. Unfortunately, our initial seating had to be changed because of the raucous group seated nearby. They, however, were clearly having the time of their lives!
Looking forward to my next meal there—have already recommended it to friends in NYC
Great place love the food love the duck wings and sangria
Amazing setting, very good food - I had halibut for the second time in a month. Outdoor seating very nice!
Charming - we LOVED it
I have already recommended it
Lovely outdoor setup and experience. Look forward to our next meal there.
Outdoor seating in picturesque setting. Scallops were done impecibly, burger was top notch. Weather turned cold quickly in between courses and we were immediately asked if we wanted to move inside (socially distant of course). It was a very nice evening.
Setting & food was excellent. Just wish they were more accommodating when the temperature outside got very cool and they wouldn’t allow us to dine inside. Understandable with Covid restrictions, but there was only 1 table of diners inside. We asked for a blanket for 1 of our friends who forgot a jacket and they told us they didn’t have any! It is an Inn! We couldn’t stay for dessert because it was just getting too uncomfortable with the temp dropping.
I would definitely go back, but they should try to accommodate for the cooler weather coming. Outdoor heaters would be great.
our service was just OK. The waitress was fine, friendly but she didn't tell us the price of the specials and no acknowledgement of our anniversary after i noted it on the reservation. The young man who gave us water and bread was grumpy and noted "it work so not a good day"
Jedediah Hawkins is fabulous! Setting is magnificent, just turning in from the road onto the property takes your breath away as you see that magnificent house looming in front of you. Outdoor patio dining provides magnificent views placed of a glorious North Fork meadow.
And, the food is good, too! Favorites: the bread, branzino, and many. Lovely staff, as well.
The Inn is an absolutely chatting venue for dinner. It is one our favorites on the North Fork. We dined on the lawn and enjoyed the diver scallops and the crispy duck...both done perfectly. The evening was cool and the wait staff provided blankets and a gas fire pit to warm the dining area. It was a very enjoyable evening.
Always dependable service and reproducibly great food. A real, winning combination with great outdoor dining availability.
This was our first time at Jedediah Hawkins, and we will definitely be coming back. I love the historic ambiance and the beautiful grounds. The service was excellent and accomadating, especially during these crazy times. The food was superb! I look forward to the next time we can go back.
What an amazing place!! Definitely can’t wait to come back here again. Super cute, romantic backyard dining space. Food was incredible. Overall, highly recommend
Beautiful atmosphere at a historic inn on the North Fork of Long Island. Plenty of outdoor seating for Covid regulations. Great for brunch and special occasions. Delicious food. Need a reservation.
Great food and such a pretty place.
Food was wonderful as was eating outside. It got a bit buggy at sunset time.
