We have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed our meal! This time we stayed overnight! The rooms are beautiful, the service outstanding and the food delicious!!! The next day we had pastries at breakfast that were by far the best we have ever had!!! Jedediah Hawkins made my 60th Birthday very memorable!!! Highly recommend a visit to this Inn!!!

celebrating my husbands retirement . The food was excellent ! the atmosphere services were also excellent! Tank you for a wonderful evening . Would highly recommend and will return.

Had an amazing Valentine's Day here, service was on point even though they were obviously busy. Wait staff were very thoughtful, decor was relaxed yet chic, and of course the food and drinks were amazing.

We had heard so many good things about this restaurant that we decided to go there on Valentine's Day. They didn't have enough wait staff that night. Everything was slow. After waiting about a half hour, the man next to us asked if he could get some bread. The waitress brought out the wine list, without saying anything about the complimentary glass of champagne that was advertised on their menu, clearly a ploy to spend extra money, as that was never mentioned until I asked about it halfway through our entrée. The duck confit flatbread appetizer had one piece of duck on it. It should have been called the sun-dried tomato flatbread instead, as that was the primary ingredient and taste. My entrée (monkfish) was good, but not exceptional. My husband did say his steak was good and the oysters were great. Needless to say, we will not return.

Ambience, food and wait staff was excellent. Very cozy. Normally we spent about an hour an a half at dinner. We stayed 2 hours and 15 minutes and received complimentary champagne before dessert. Very nice touch.

This was a girls brunch celebrating our friends birthday. Loved this place it was a perfect way to celebrate with great friends. The food was amazing a bit pricey but we were ok with that because it the ambience of this old house impressed us all. We will go back again soon!!!.

This restaurant has great ambiance and a Victorian feeling. Staff was very accomodating. Drinks were strong and mixed well, wine list was weak with mainly NoFo wines. Food was average for this caliber of venue, over priced. Beef was not evenly cooked and selection of meat very average cut/quality. Fish selection also very slim, and my wife's dish was over cooked with bland preparation. Again, over priced for the caliber of food presented. I am not one to write a negative review, but the food was not exceptional, only average. If the beef and seafood dishes were very creative and highly selected the restaurant would be worth going back.

What a great surprise. We were told about this special place by some great friends who stumbled upon it by chance. Well here we are and it’s more then we could have imagined. From the basement speakeasy the our main floor dinning experience. I must say it was over the top. The wait staff, the ambiance, the food!!! We will be returning. Great Great experience!

Have been before and enjoyed ...this time, menu totally changed and not very Fish friendly. The only fish entree was a codfish, and the others were all shellfish which 2 in our party could not eat because they are allergic. Last time the menu was mush more varied. Will check the menu online before we go next time.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for the weekend. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very attentive and the ambiance was very elegant. We dined at the restaurant on Friday night and everything was delicious. I had the mussels for appetizer and the cioppino for dinner. The seafood was very fresh and the broth was awesome for dipping bread. My husband had the short ribs and his only complaint was they were a bit salty. The breakfast on both days was outrageous! Fresh baked pastry, yummy yogurt and omelettes were outstanding.

I highly recommend going for dinner or even better take a weekend and get the full experience.

Service was Terrible, food has seriously declined and was ehh at best. Way over priced for the terrible service and mediocre food. Step your game up, you guys used to be so good!

Too cold in the atrium. Shaved fennel, no flavor. Everything else was great, but for my cold toes, not pleasant.
