Bday for two of us
We've been here numerous times and this was an excellent birthday dinner. The food was wonderful as always and the service was outstanding from the bread to dessert. The scallop carpaccio and the poached lobster were out of this world. Roger our captain was so attentive and professional. He made sure that our dining experience was perfect. I hope next time we dine st JG we are lucky enough to have Roger wait on us.

It was a good dinner but didn”t worth what we had paid. I made a reservation informing that was a bithday occasion and that someone on the table was gluten sensitivity and then in the morning i sent another email reminding but they weren”t know about neither the celebration than the food intolerance....
The service wasn”t so good as we were expecting in this kind of restaurant. The only thing that was amanzing was the caviar egg, this is really very good!!! But only this...
Great service. Great ambience. The food are really not Michelin 2 stars. Either too tarty, too bland, or too heavy. The ingredients are really not that good as Michelin always bring out the freshness and real flavor of the ingredients. I really expected more. Jean George really disappointed. I had a much better experience at Perse where the food reflects it’s 3 Michelin Star and price.
The food was kinda too salty. But the service was very good.

The service was flawless and the food was excellent.
Well, I was expecting the service to be more attentive, our plates were empty for long periods of time, also our tables were empty for long periods of time. The food was good, my salad was a bit salty. The most memorable bit was dessert which was amazing, followed by organic chocolate.
It is the great dinner for the date day.
A male server who came out with the amuse bouche was extremely rude and gave a very obnoxious expression. He made me feel that he’s throwing out the dish to the dog. It made my meal a very terrible experience. He’s clearly not cut out to be working in the service industry. I have never ever seen anyone like this working in a well rated restaurant. I wouldn’t eat here if I see him again.
I had dinner at jean georges at 2014 and I loved it! Then I came back to Nyc and first expectation was have the same experience there. What a disappointment. The food was terrible. Worst lobster i ever had! And the dessert, realy bed! Not planning fo back ever again!
Superb dinner, very relaxing. The staff (Eric) was amazingly knowledgeable and friendly. We always enjoy this restaurant and this time was no different.

We tasted twelve dishes between the four of us. The dishes were of sufficient size for each of us to have a portion of each dish. The presentations were beautiful. The Fois Gras and the Sea Urchin were both outstanding , nine others were close behind, and one(the Veal) only very good. Great service. It’s pricey, but if you go for lunch, it’s less so. Get dessert! It’s a deal for $12. Two of our party are chefs in pretty nice establishments and suffice it to say, it was “a kid in the candy store” two hour lunch. Most enjoyable! PS: We had 18-20 dishes to choose from, all of which, were on the dinner menu which only slightly larger.
Simply, the best lunch and dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was original and gastronomically prepared. I will dream of eating here again!
Phenomenal experience & cuisine. Ordered off alacarte with some customization. Our splendid waiter was quite helpful with specifics & my own wine pairings by the glass. Some not even on the menu. Our table for two was recessed and so romantic. Service was impeccable. The discreet remembrance of my wife’s birthday was quite nice with a custom dessert to accompany the one we ordered.
Everything we had - we loved. Truly amazing was the Toasted Egg Yolk with Beluga Caviar. Followed by Sea Urchin with Serrano & Yuzu tasted so fresh you thought they just took it from the waters off Sicily. The Waygu tenderloin was to die for.
You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu!
