Food was regular, flatware uncomfortable, desserts very poor. I had hogh expectations, but was really frustrating.
Should be doungraded to zero stars.
Thank you JG for stopping by to say happy birthday!
An exquisite evening! Every bite was out of this world. The service was exceptional.
The best food in Nyc.
We felt like kings for two hour.
Need to get back the 3 Michelin start ASAP
It is easy to see why this is a three star Michelin starred restaurant. The complexity of the food rivals anywhere in the world. We loved it so much the first day we went back the next day. It is my favorite place in New York for lunch.
The deserts were very disappointing for a two star Michelin.
Wonderfull experience, Food is an art
Wonderful meal, professional charming service. Delicious flavors in all the dishes.
The food and ambiance were great, and our server was friendly and very informative. However, the service at the reception desk was quite unsatisfactory. There was a lady at the reception who welcomed our party with a ”literally” frowning face. From reservation confirmation to seat guidance, She kept the unpleasant facial expression whole time - that you’d never seen coming at a Michelin- and it was uncomfortable. If you are expecting a perfect dining experience with the aid of more professional staff, I recommend you try somewhere else.
It was a great place for our last lunch in New York with my girlfriends. Great value for the quality of food and the service was very attentive. My only regret is that I wished I requested a seat next to the windows for a better view of Central Park.
It was excellent
Consistently one of the best restaurants in Manhattan.
Substantial deterioration in quality of food preparation, service and ambiance.
Food was very over salted. The menu was tired - restaurant had the feeling Both in food quality, service and ecor of a restaurant that has run its course.
The wine list was very good and the sommelier was very knowledgeable.
Would definitely suggest there are better choices for the price point.
Great food, wonderful service!
Very nice place to take a date for a special occasion. Lunch isnt THAT expensive but worth.
Absolute jewel as usual! Great value for lunch for such an exquisite experience! Look forward to be back soon!
Amazing experience for an anniversary!!!!
It is a fine dining restaurant with exceptional service and ambiance. It is a total uplifting experience for all of the senses!
Thank a is the second time I ate here. It did not disappoint. The service was wonderful. The presentation fantastic. The food prepared well and hot. Lover the “freebies”
The best restaurant in New York. Dinner there is great but love it more for a romantic or business lunch.
It was the best dining in NYC
Next time, I would visit there with my whole family.
A special experience. Ambiance service and food were outstanding. The winter tasting menu was a wonderful progression of flavors. Wine outstanding too. An experience worth repeating.
Vension sucks, dessert is too sweet, pumpkin rivoli is not so good
Not as good as last time I went there..
Lugar sencillo pero elegante, muy buen servicio y una excelente comida!
Everything ❤️ lovely
Our main complaint would be the wine pour. We had the Christmas menu with the wine pairings and the sommelier wasn't the best. Didn't go into much detail about the wines and we thought the pours weren't adequate. We had 3 people doing the wine pairings at $200 per person. If you know wines you are better off purchasing from the list. The food was amazing. The dining room is pretty but there are no views. The other thing we noticed was a family with a kid watching TV on his cell phone with ear phones on. Unfortunately, they were right next to us so we couldn't help to notice. This took way from being at a Michelin rated restaurant. The dress code was not enforced, which also took away from dressing up and spending the money for an expensive dinner.
Once again, our experience is always delicious at Jean Georges. From the staff to the food, everything is impeccable. Would recommend it always. All time favorite is the foie gras with marzipan - delicious!
Great food and service
One of the most memorable food experience. Loved it. Joe our host was exceptional
This is the sixth time to use the restaurant. Always excellent food and service. However, I was a little bit disappointed that the restaurant staff asked me whether this is the first time to visit...
Since there's some Sashimi dishes, I would like to see more options to select Japanese sake.
A spectacular meal. Every bite was delicious. Exemplary service. Formal but not snooty. And of course, a great and interesting wine list - even for wines by the glass.
Pre show dinner to celebrate a milestone event. Lovely time with dinner. Precision service. We love led the Hamachi and the Tuna Ribbons. The artic char was outstanding. Amazing food and great service.
An expensive treat but one worth having.
Sure, the food tastes "good", but I don't think this restaurant deserves two Michelin stars. One maybe. The dishes didn't show subtle flavors. Instead it was more refined home cooking, using more than a pinch of salt and a healthy amount of butter. The ambiance is a bit sterile and the furniture could do with some upgrades. Again, this is a good restaurant, but I expected to be wowed. I wasn't.
