View Private Dining DetailsSimply amazing. Great food , service and comfy environment. Every plate blew me away.
Always a wonderful dining experience. We did the tasting menu and every course was excellent and full of spring flavors. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought a very delicious cake with gold leaf. The waiters were very professional and all the plates hit the table at the same time.
Incredible food that's so creative and beautifully prepared and plated. The staff is attentive and helpful. They aren't the least bit pretentious. They happily accommodated my girlfriend's gluten-free requirements. We're dined in many elegant restaurants, but the experience and quality of the food at Jean-Georges tops them all!
Celebrated an anniversary. Staff gave us an amazing seat and greeted us with congratulations on our anniversay. Every course was excellent.
The spring tasting menu was divine, the service was impeccable.
Except for an appetizer of foie gras, the food was oddly average. Someone has taken their eye off the ball. The room is exquisitely beautiful.
Words seem to elude me in describing Jean-Georges. Every time I go it feels like the first time. Each and every dish were superb! Remember to do wine-pairing.
Everything was great!!!
The food was great. What was lacking was the wow factor. When you pay over $500 for a dinner, you expect to be knocked out of your chair. Compared to Per Se, and even Restaurant Daniel, it was somewhat lackluster.
We had lunch here. The black bass was great.
とても美味しい、サービスも最高
Jean-Georges is the quintessential classic French crossed with ambitious cutting edge cuisine that never fails to impress. Jean-Georges is a great artist in every sense. Merci!
Located in Trump Tower which sucks
Excellent food and service. Will not disappoint. Yes
Memorable experience and service. I enjoy fine dining quite a bit and definitely worth a visit. Sweetbreads were noteworthy. Two “dings” would be the chicken was way overcooked and one of the napkins was noticeably stained. I can understand why they lost a third Michelin *. Coincidentally Michelin is one of my Clients and encouraged the visit. I’ll be back.
The food was good. It’s an experience.
Best meal and experience in recent memory. Portions were delicious and generous as was the wine pairing. Highly highly recommended for a special occasion
Everything was excellent except for all the staff mingling around and talking to each other during the first thirty or forty minutes they were serving dinner. We had 5PM reservation and the number and volume of staff conversations going on was totally inappropriate for a restaurant of that quality! Food: FIVE. Staff: 3, or less!
Wine steward (female) was exceptional !!!
We attended Jean Georges for my partners 50th birthday and it was everything I had hoped! The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and worked like a well oiled machine. The food was amazing, to the point that at the end of the meal my partner and I asked if we could thank the chef personally and were promptly taken to meet the head chef in the kitchen.
An all round perfect night with the perfect company of our best friends
It was a great experience from reception to the food. Everything was amazing, food was good, waiters were very professional and helpful. The atmosphere was very good for good conversations. We were overall happy. We will definitely be returning whenever in New York.
The service and food were outstanding!!! The presentation was visually beautiful. Each bite was exciting and mouth watering. Thank you for helping to make our Easter special.
We had an amazing Easter dinner at JG! The food was spectacular, the service outstanding, and the wine list top rate. This is a special occasion kind of place as the tasting menu is extensive, but for that special occasion, JG rocks!!!
Wonderful Easter meal with family. Food ,service wine couldn’t have been better
I’ve never taken the time to write a review but I feel I need to. With Jean Georges being a NY institution of sorts I would have expected more creativity with the menu. The dishes are well executed but really no more than a typical high end French restaurant. The peeky toe crab risotto had depth of flavor and interesting Japanese elements to it. Other than that the dishes fell flat, lacking dimension and were somewhat outdated. The view is nice, but for the same cost I would recommend Per Se across the street where you will be swept away by the mastery of gastronomy. I really don’t feel this establishment is even close to any of the other NY top ten. Jean George offers strong service (not very personable but knowledgeable and efficient), a nice view and that’s about it.
Excellent experience.
The food and service was phenomenal however the decor and ambience was lack-lustre.
Everything was nice!!
Great! If it was creative the service was excellent it was a beautiful setting of the special night thanks
Jean-Georges stands out as one of the greatest food experiences. Very knowledgeable staff in the dining-room, the food was exquisite. I would recommend this place to any foodie, as well as to anyone celebrating a special occupation.
Amazing dinner at JG! The food was delicious ( well portioned too!) and service was impeccable!
Incredible service and food!
Just amazing from the wonderful staff to the wonderful staff. They knew my pregnant wife couldn’t eat certain foods.
As always, a great dining experience with amazing food and personable, highly professional service. Lovely atmosphere, if you can overlook being in a Trump building.
For the last year I have visited foodie Mecca’s on three continents and although I love Jean-George I doubted it would wow me...I was soooo wrong! It didn’t take long to again realize how well earned is it’s reputation and Zagat rating! Kudos to the chef!
Very fine dining. They made me change to wear a jacket. This should have been either on the Open Table site and,or in the confirmation email. The jacket they had was a bit small and difficult to wear. With such fine dining, they should have a greater selection of jackets or inform the patron before we arrive.
Terrific birthday celebration. Incredibly accommodating and beautiful service. And, of course, the food was outstanding.
Outstanding service. Lovely atmosphere. Food generally well prepared and beautifully presented. A very nice dining experience.
Everything is good
高級なお店なので非常に緊張しましたが、
