    Elegant and intimate ambiance, attentive service, good food and extensive wine list with wine choices starting at only 65$ per bottle. Fresh seasonal ingredients and artistic presentation of the dishes. Crab and champagne mango salad is a must try.

    Too expensive the wine list. All the bottles of wine around 1,000 usd. I think the restaurante is a very good one but not the best. The value-quality ratio is overrated.

    Having visited many of the worlds finest restaurants including some of the top celebrity chefs. I can recommend Jean Geoge as being amongst the best. I can outright confirm that the price was the highest amount I have ever paid for a 3 course meal (with amuse bouche) and a moderately priced Spanish white, which was excellent at $90 The total bill being $800 plus tip I have dined on 9 course tasting menus at 3 Star restaurants Christmas Eve and paid less. Wonderful but at a price.

    I have probably been here half a dozen times over the last 10 years, maybe more, and have enjoyed every previous visit. Just wasn't the same this time. Maybe I'm a little bored of the food (call me spoiled), every dish was good, but nothing was spectacular. They could barely accommodate some dietary restrictions my wife had (probably the hardest time we had with this in a year) - which we sent over ahead of time. They basically couldn't substitute a sauce or make relatively minor changes to dishes - almost too stereotypical for "high end French". On the other hand, they have a dresscode requiring jackets, yet the table next to us had a gentleman in a very nice polo (no jacket in sight) who I wouldn't have thought twice about, had it not been for the table one over from there sitting three people that looked like they just came from a skateboard park (shoes and shirts to match). I'm not a fan of dresscodes, but if you have one requiring men to have jackets there is no excuse for having a table in the main dining room dressed for a college cafeteria. The staff probably noticed we weren't thrilled with how they handled the food limitations pouring us an unsolicited round of d'Yquem (very nice of them) - but it would have been much nicer to make a legitimate effort to slightly adjust a couple dishes so we both could enjoy them.

    With only the highest expectations we arrived right on time for our reservation on a Sunday night. Immediately, we were asked to wait for a few moments at the noisy hotel lobby nearby. Fifteen (!!!) minutes later when it became clear that something was not quite right, I decided to step back inside the restaurant reception area and inquire about our wait, but was asked by the different person if I have a reservation (!!!). The front of house manager (or just some in charge) that I requested to see apologised very briefly and somewhat complained that the kitchen was really busy that night and walked us to our table that was set up in front of our eyes. The waiter and sommelier were just doing their job, but it was already very difficult for them to catch up after such a bad start considering that they didn't get any help or support from the restaurant management. The food itself was another controversial item that night with almost all dishes being high on salt level and caramelized foie gras being heavily salted and served with a salty mix of herbs on a side. Also we got an impression that the chef was obsessed with sweet peas as we got them in different forms in three out of four courses. Although the restaurant acclaimed to offer French American with Asian twist cuisine, we also noticed very strong Middle Eastern influence. Another moment that has to be mentioned is that for our 12 years old daughter they offered food from the hotel in-room dining service menu whereas any comparable or even much lower class restaurant we have been to always offers some a-la carte items to be specifically prepared for the younger guests. Again, visiting a restaurant of this level is all about your expectations meeting the actual experience that fell too far apart from each other that night. Definitely can't recommend this place to anyone looking for a Michelin star restaurant experience. Neither the food, nor the service.

    Service was outstanding. The black bass (on the menu since ‘97) was the star and probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Super attentive and friendly staff.

    六本木店に行きよかったので伺いました。 さすが本店、素晴らしいサービスでした。食事の説明、ワインのおすすめの仕方、全般にとても細やかな気配りをしてくださりました。カテラリーをソースで汚したしまった時さりげなく交換してくださる丁寧なサービスでした。 食事もこの食材はこんなに美味しいの?!って想像を超える美味しさでした。 いいお値段ですが、その価値はあると思います。

    Absolutely amazing! We celebrated a special birthday occasion and enjoyed a truly phenomenal lunch. We have had many great meals at this outstanding restaurant, but this was our most enjoyable and wonderful! We owe a special thank you to your new manager, Adrien for making this all happen. From the warm and welcoming greeting as we entered the front door, to the highly professional oversight and caring service we received, the afternoon was just perfect. (Thank you to our waiter and sommelier as well - and I apologize for not remembering their names.) We are long time patrons and fans of Jean Georges and we will definitely be back! Bravo - and many thanks Adrien!

    Receptionist and waitress were cold. Food is too greasy. Serving was too slow - took them 4 hours to serve all the dishes. It was midnight when we walked out.

    This is a real experience rather then just a meal. Very interesting techniques on display with each course. While it wouldn't be a restaurant you'd come to frequently, it's a good benchmark for what to expect from among the most celebrated active chefs in the world. Definately should be on your NYC restaurant bucket list

    We have dined at Jean Georges twice before, and our experience just keeps getting better and better. An amazing menu, knowledgeable service team, a lovely atmosphere. Do you want to know how good the meal was? Well, we sat down at the table at 6:00 PM, and we gladly sat at the table until midnight, enjoying every course, every minute, every mouthful. We will be back!
