10/10! Very pleasant and unique experience! A gem :)
The meal was fantastic! The only let down was that for me, the potatoes that come with the ribeye for two could have been better.
First time for my birthday and it was very special! We decided to go around 6p (best to go 30min before sunset) toenjoy the daylight views and end off with the night lights. We found street parking along the side of the Comcast building (free on Sundays). The elevator ride was a little fast (ears popped) and the walk to the host was beautiful with my favorite orchid display. As we walked towards our table, we were greeting to a seculed booth with the view of the pyramid club restaurant and Liberty one building. The plant display near the dinning area was not as expected or as beautiful as the lobby (looked like a dead spaced out bush). Our server was very attentive (i personally don’t like the server to stand so close to our table nor check in every 5mins- didn’t feel as romantic). The food came out at a good pace and was very delicious. We had the leechi Bellini and Manhattan drinks. We enjoyed the risotto and tuna appetizers and chicken and lamb dishes. We ended with a peanut butter ice cream passion fruit dessert. Definitely a great place for a celebration or to get your mind off. There’s a lounge also which I hope to enjoy next time. Would be nice if the music during dinner was classical music or a nicer beat (did not enjoy the music).
Great place with an amazing food and service!!!
Our server was wonderful! All of the staff is incredibly attentive and made the experience very special! Plus the views are just unbelievable!
Everything was great. View can’t be beat.
We had a wonderful experience at Jean-Georges. All of the praise for the spectacular views, the ambience, the service and the food are well deserved. I would like to particularly mention our sommelier for his attention and enthusiasm. We took advantage of the restaurant’s reasonable ($30) corkage policy and brought 2 bottles. He dealt with these as professionally as the bottle of cava we ordered to start the meal. Portions were appropriate (I am not a fan of oversized portions, but also don’t want leave feeling like I still need a meal), properly cooked and delicious.
We were skeptical after reading Craig Laban's review but ended up being pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent as was the service and ambience. A beautiful setting. The prices are high, especially wine at 3.5-4x markup, but I guess that's to be expected at a high end restaurant. Highly recommended for special occasions.
Service, views, food, ambience all incredible & quite frankly faultless.
We had a wonderful dinner celebrating my husbands birthday. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.
The experience is top notch. I had a starter and an entree, but I left and bought a smoothie! I was still hungry!
food And service was excellent so where the view and the cocktails 🍹
The view is breathtaking!
Our waiter, Stephen, was awesome! He was kind, pleasant, prompt and knowledgeable.
Excellent and well worth the lunch price fix
Hisham was AMAZING thank you so much you truly made my birthday dinner special!
Great experience. Stunning ambiance. Impeccable service. Tables are spaced out and very private. Great views even if you are not seated against the window. Playing portions are small but bursting with flavor. Loved the raw starters, octo, black bass, lobster, duck, and lamb. Desserts are gorgeous too. Definitely worth the splurge.
Excellent service, food and view of the city.
Good food and service, although my ravioli were served lukewarm. The real issue is they need to decide if they want to be an observation deck for people to crowd the limited bar space and wander around or they want to be a fine dining destination that comes with an amazing view. At a minimum the lower level bar area should be reserved for jean George diners only and the upper bar area for hotel guests and restaurant guests only.
What a blessing Jean-Georges is in Philadelphia. We came for a specialty lunch and had the most marvelous time. Antoinette took such good care of us. Thank you Antoinette. Yes. Jean-Georges is a must do when in Philly.
My husband and I had a wonderful time. The food, wine expertise, and service was spot on, reminiscent of our experience in fine dining in Italy this past summer and at Per Se, New York, this past December. Everything was just a cut above. Sadly, the five twenty-year-olds behind us taking flash selfies and constantly walking around was beyond anyone’s control. It did not inhabit our experience, and we are already planning on coming back.
Fully lived up to its reputation. An amazing dining experience.
Overall a wonderful experience. Almost off to a rocky start when we were led to a table without the view when there were plenty of tables available. We ask for another table and were switched promptly. Ask for what you want, in a nice way of course. The view of Philadelphia is as good as it gets. The service was excellent, very attentive, with a respectful yet friendly demeanor. Egg caviar with whipped vodka was delicate and subtle, delicious. The ravioli in truffle fondue superb. Steamed sea bass perfectly cooked, delicately seasoned. My wife loved the duck breast. Desserts were not inspiring but quite good nonetheless. All in all I’d recommend for a special occasion.
View was outstanding. Food quality was poor. Waiter was poorly informed
Nice place. Would return.
Every aspect of our lunch was exceptional and exquisite. We are still marveling over the presentation, the clever and delicious combinations of flavors and textures, the attentive yet reserved service and the extraordinary setting. We hope to return again and again!
The food and atmosphere were wonderful!
Would prefer more vegetarian entrees, but did find excellent items in the appetizer menu. Without question would eat there again. Wonderful dining experience with spectacular views.
Beautiful view, outstanding service and a really good food
Clearly the best of Philadelphia!
My boss took me for my birthday lunch. It was delicious.
Table of 4 for breakfast. Everyone had the french toast and loved it. High quality food for a very reasonable price.
Go get the foie gras and a glass of sauterne; enjoy the view. That would be a perfect visit.
The caviar was good but not executed perfectly; The foie gras was. The fish dishes we had were very good. Orchard dessert very creative and fun.
The space is a bit of tasteful Vegas. Nicely done.
Service was attentive and good. A bit careless about mentioning prices of items proffered: they should do better on that front. No need to upsell at these prices.
We spent $260 each a la carte for a fine evening. An indulgence, only occasionally worth it.
This restaurant is very good but not great. There are better options available for this price range. The selection is too limited to suit our taste, the bar is surprisingly limited as well, and the quality of the food very good but not 5 stars. However, the Birdseye view of the city is unbeatable, the service and courtesy of various personnel is top notch, and the ambiance and beauty of the entire venue is gorgeous. So it is definitely worth the price once, but We won,t be adding it to our top ten in Phila
Excellent 9th wonder of the world it’s a must to see and have dinner there
Drove over an hour to experience this place for a special occasion. Did not have a great view from our table. Service started off great but then got really slow. Food was good.
Food is rather generic. Decor is great. service is great. Views are outstanding. But the chefs tasting was super overrated. Would not do it again. Nice for a special occasion. But never again.
Amazing views - definitely up in the clouds... and the day-time v. night-time views are equally impressive. For those that have problems with high places - this venue will certainly test your nerves. I have visited for lunch and dinner - food is artfully presented. Menu selection is "focused" - not that there are limited options - but certainly wont take long to review the selection. Food quality was high - and as you might expect, portion size was also "focused" (leftovers are not likely). Service was quite attentive - but deliberately slow. Pricing was as expected.
Our server and service was fantastic!
This place is awesome and look very modern , the staffs are great and our waiter Steve is great , I was surprise this place let peoples who wear sneakers and t shirts at the bar and restaurant, in New York is no no , I would def want peoples come in wear shoes and at dress alittle bit smart causal
