Beautiful service, ambiance and a delicious meal!
Great location wonderful staff and excellent service. The menu could use a bit improving as some dishes do not justify the price point. The Jadori chicken was a total joke and I had to send it back immediately. Also there was very little attention given to my food sensitivity despite the fact that I had mentioned it to the server twice.
We traveled from Colorado to CA to eat here. They had excellent music, we danced. The four course meals we ordered were done to perfection! The staff was suburb.
Truly the staff is what made our evening so phenomenal ! Thank you
Our experience was nothing short of fabulous. The ambiance, the cuisine and friendly/attentive wait staff created the perfect Sunday morning gathering for a girls get together. Looking forward to returning to Jean-Georges soon!
A little overpriced, but should be expected because it is the Waldorf. Food and service was very good and I look forward to returning soon.
Everything is always perfect 👌
Amazing experience the chief even gifted us an appetizer which was truly kind of him
Great location, well prepare dishes as one would a expect from Jean-Georges. After Bouchon closed its doors we had not found a restaurant with this pedigree. Jean-Georges takes your taste buds to zone where caviar and Champagne reign. From the moment you pull in to the Waldorf to the moment when you take the last bite of the Grand Marnier soufflé your are treated like Royalty.
Absolutely top notch! I can’t say enough about our experience this time and every time. Bravo!
A wonderful experience in elegant setting. The evening concluded at the rooftop bar - what a view.
Beautiful restaurant. Food was EXCELLENT and service A+
Fabulous as always!!!! What wonderful restaurant!!!
I love everything about this fine establishment. The delicious food is only the start.
Excellent service and food in a beautiful atmosphere
Over rated. Pricey, food was just ok. Service and ambience good. Wouldn’t go back and would not recommend. I had calamari as a first course, that was warmed over, stringy and tasteless. First time I ever sent a dish back in a restaurant. Manager took dish off final bill, as he should have.
I love the service and the waiter. The waiter was very friendly. Great service, food, and decor. Will def come back
Nothing short of absolutely amazing
Sat us right away and presented us with an Amuse Bouche compliments of the chef. The octopus appetizer was excellent. We were a bit disappointed with the caviar egg appetizer (compared to what we have had). The prime hanger steak was excellent. We skipped dessert, however, we were presented with some sweets compliments of the house. Our server Nick was excellent. Great dinner thank you Jean-Georges team.
We celebrated a birthday, party of 9, and everything was perfect. Such a joy to have friendly service in a fine dining restaurant. Thank you!
Birthday celebration, everything was perfect !
Great food and service. Special occasion restaurant.
This was my first time at this restaurant; I really had great expectations and after all my experience was amazing. Great food and customer service, the staff is very kind and the place is beautifully decorated; I ordered the Avocado Carpaccio Pizza and Strawberry Shortbread for dessert. The food was extremely delicious and I will definitely come back for more... Can't wait!
Going to Jean Georges puts you in a perspective to have certain expectation. Everything was very average my drink was the worst gin cucumber martini ever. Extremely sour!!! Ordered the John Dory fish of the day nothing, I mean nothing was special about this dish just a simple fillet of fish and a bit of lemon butter sauce. Extremely high priced. Although the interior of the restaurant was beautiful. Very disappointed in the food.
We went for restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
We visited Jean-Georges during Dine LA week and were not disappointed. The service, food and ambiance were impeccable. Starting from the broccoli and kale salad and corn soup and finishing with the salted caramel sundae and warm chocolate cake, everything we had was incredibly delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. We will definitely be returning.
I had dinner with a group of friends and it took literally an hour to serve the food. Staff was friendly but we lost our appetites by the time dinner was served!!!! Very disappointing since it was not busy at all!! Then went to the rooftop to have desert; ohhh listen to this... for almost 15 minutes nobody came to out table to take our orders!!
WILL NOT GO BACK THERE ANYMORE!!
Gorgeous space. Great service. Food just OK. Chef J-G needs to visit and up their game. It was empty on a Friday night. Mediocre food is a poorly kept secret
The evening was puzzling all the way around. We have eaten at, and enjoyed, Jean-Georges in New York. This version was definitely subpar. The room and ambience are lovely, but we ate outside, and the street noise was intrusive. We chose to eat outside because when we arrived, the restaurant had a live pianist/vocalist who was fine - just really loud. Of course, we had no idea that the music would be piped so loudly outside - probably to mask the street noise.
But where we were really disappointed was with the food. The portions were massive (like Cheesecake Factory massive) and the dishes were not particularly well executed. My Wagyu steak was done perfectly and was tender, but the blackening exterior was overpowering and had no nuance to it. We ordered a cauliflower dish that was massive and totally over-cooked. I could go on and on, but one gets the picture.
The service was also not great. Forgot to bring my wife a fork and I had to wave my arm as if I were flagging down a cab at 5th Avenue.
All around a huge disappointment, particularly at the price.
This restaurant has it all. The food is so delicious, the service, and the atmosphere is all beyond exceptional! The servers and staff that waited on us were excellent, very accommodating and so friendly! This is our second year back to the hotel to stay and celebrate my son’s birthday. They exceeded our expectations. Thank you for everything! We will be back!
I think $100 for two salads with grilled chicken added to them, and one tea is excessive. My office is on South Beverly Drive and I am familiar with fine dining in luxury hotels, but really....$100 for two salads with protein added to them and one tea????
Esta mucho mejor el rooftop, pues tiene una vista espectacular
Very nice atmosphere and service. Recommended for breakfast and dinner.
Service was very slow. Gap between first course and main course too long.
Went for the Dine LA lunch. Started well in an elegant dining space and courteous service. Appetizers, salmon entree and desserts were tops. Had an issue with the Wagyu steak entree—meat was tough to chew even after additional cooking from medium rare to the medium we ordered. Was told that’s the way it’s supposed to be, but Wagyu meat is a high fat content meat and should be as soft as butter. Manager offered us 10% off the bill which didn’t meaningfully compensate for a lousy main course. Our server Michael was top notch.
Loved it. The food & service was outstanding. Thank you Waldorf Astoria for such a lovely afternoon. We would love to return.
I've been to Jena Georges in New York, but this was my first visit to the Beverly Hills venue. I went during DineLA week, and I and the rest of my party enjoyed the special DineLA menu, and the wonderful, enjoyable attention that was paid to us. The first course was a combination of sea urchin and caviar, and when I remarked to one of the other diners that it should be enjoyed with chop sticks, the next thing I knew was we all had chopsticks! Although we brought our own wine - and incurred a hefty corkage fee of $65 - they served us the wine pairings for two of the courses, for which the sommelier thought our heady, Bordeaux style wine was not quite right. That was a particularly thoughtful and generous thing to do. Finally, a shout out to our waiter, Bryan, who contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the evening!
The service was phenomenal from the valet to the wait staff. The salmon, shaved Brussels sprouts and truffle mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.
I went there with my mom last Sat for Dine in LA 2019. It was an incredible great fine dining experience. The food is very delicate and fresh. I would recommend this place to friends for a special occasion, such as anniversary or birthday.
