Join us in one of our six heated, cozy domes that lie along our patio viewing the Grand River. Enjoy a JW Marriott quality dining experience in the winter time, outdoors! Each dome has an electric heater to keep everyone warm while the city lights up your evening.

The maximum capacity is firm at 6 people per dome. There is a strict 2 hour time limit per dome which starts at the reservation time. A credit card will be required to secure the reservation, but will only be charged if unable to notify us 48 hours in advance of a cancellation. A late cancellation fee is $25 a person. If interested in reserving beyond the time limit, please contact the Margaux Sales Manager, Phil Acree: pacree@ahchospitality.com.

We require a $100 food and beverage minimum, and a 20% auto-gratuity will be added to all final bills in the Domes as well. All dinner reservations will be held to this minimum. Purchasing a gift card does not qualify. 50% off validated parking in the JW Marriott Parking Ramp.

    Ring in 2024 with style, at Margaux - Domes on the Jdek. Come enjoy a delectable 5-course menu for $150. Our sommelier has hand-picked wonderful wine pairings to add to each course, if desired. A limited a la carte menu is available for walk-in guests in the Margaux Lounge. All reservations in the dining room must partake in the executive chef's unique menu, no substitutions. A credit card is required to secure the reservation. A cancellation fee of $50 per person with any cancellation within 48 hours notice will be applied. Tax and service charge not included - 6% sales tax, 20% service charge on all parties of 6.

    We absolutely love this place. We have always been in the domes, and again we got our FAVORITE and BEST server-Jen! She is top notch, helped us navigate thru the French menu, and gave steller recommendations for dinner. We had a terrific girls night here, and I will always ask for Jen if possible, because she might be the best at her job-ever- in Grand Rapids! Food was fabulous 👌 👏 👍 😍

    Had an excellent experience. It was our first time there and I would definitely recommend it. Our server was really nice and helpful throughout our time there. Unfortunately I do not remember his name but he made the time at Margoux and excellent one!

    The appetizers and kids meals were great but our main meals were not very good, the salmon was very overcooked and dry and the duck was chewy

    The food was fantastic, as was the service! It was lovely to sit by the river and enjoy a delicious meal. My only complaint was the backless benches that made it hard to sit for an extended period. If we returned, we would request one of the normal tables with chairs.

    We had a fantastic experience! Emma was amazing, the food and drinks were incredible. It was a warm day and staff made sure to let us know that we could move inside if we needed to. We ended up staying outside and it was wonderful. Thanks to everyone for a great anniversary dinner.

    My fiancé and I headed here for a date night. The vibe is awesome and the Jdek is a really cool idea. The chairs outside are not comfortable at all nor are they padded. You’re basically sitting on concrete or metal. Our service was the worst part of the entire meal. Our waitress was named Alyssa and she did not seem to care one bit about our experience. She took our order and then we didn’t see her until the end of our meal when we had to ask for our check. She was also waiting on the table behind us and they had 10+ more visits to check on their meals than we ever did. The service of the manager was lackluster as well. He stopped by to bring us our food and we asked for another round of the slushy cocktail (actually very good) and they never brought it. The food was ok, at best. My fiancé got the lobster roll and I got the chicken. The chicken was well cooked and had lots of flavor. The sides of frozen veggies and “lard” was awful. My fiancé said her food wasn’t bad but nothing special. Overall, we are pretty disappointed. Spent $100 on a very lackluster experience. Definitely would not recommend coming back. The ambiance and location can not be beat though. That’s about all this place has going for it.

    You can’t beat the view of both nature and cityscape . Look for a heron (or crane?) perched on the “island” in the river, as well as geese, ducks, gulls, and others. The wall of plants is cool to see. This was a good place to relax and stay a while and enjoy quality time with my friends when we went on a Tuesday night in July with temperature of 85 F. This was the second time I visited, both to take out of town guests. Staff are friendly and professional. They validate parking ONLY if you park in the Marriott parking garage, but NOT the Riverwalk Public Parking garage which costs $10 and is an Ellis lot.

    Service came at a very relaxed pace, but I think if you're dining here, that's your vibe. We only had two simple food items but they were both excellent. Drinks were delightful. It's not cheap but if you're going here you kinda have to expect that.

    Jdek was great. We did call to verify that we would still have our table as we were running about 5-8 minutes late, and they said absolutely. The ambiance was great, service was great, and the food was fantastic!

    Brandon was incredible! We were celebrating my husband's birthday with some pre-dinner cocktails and despite being from Grand Rapids ourselves, he provided a lot of valuable ideas and options for us for dinner and activities! He was so sweet and personable and we would go back just to see him!

    I have had great experiences at Margaux in the past, but this time, both the service and food were disappointing. Service was slow, and dirty dishes were not removed. The food was cold and underseasoned. What a shame because it's not cheap either. It was my birthday dinner with friends so it should have been so much better. Don't get the filet or the scallops.

    We celebrated our anniversary early this year, and the jdek at Margaux was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the view was incredible. They evening wrote a "Happy Anniversary" message on our dessert plate. I would definitely go back here again for another special occasion!

    Service was exceptional. Setting on the river is exceptional. However, food is overpriced and lass than mediocre. Escargot served in a cold pot, doused in pesto sauce and food was cold. Wait time from appetizer to entree was over 30 minutes. Whitefish serving was small and fried fennel was underdone.

    2nd time in the dome! It was just as good as the first time. We had a 6:00pm reservation and it was much brighter than expected (bring the shades). Loved everything from the food to the view and everything in between.

    A unique experience and a lot of fun. I was concerned that with the snow the day before and cold temps we might not like it. But with the sun on the pods, we had the opposite problem. In spite of that, it was a great to be outside by the water. We enjoyed the food and our server, Gabby, was very attentive. A little pricey, but it was worth it. Would go back again.

    The jdek bubble experience was wonderful! They included blankets and the bubble was equipped with a space heater. The food and service were excellent (even during the blizzard )

    The food was good, the bubbles were great just really cold. The waiter was our favorite part, he was really nice and funny. He was awesome 👌
