   Food was lovely. Although a better knife would of been better to cut the meats instead of what looked like a butter knife.

   Yet again, another fabulous meal at JD's. Various gluten free options which was a huge plus. Excellent food and superb service

   Fantastic place and a great dinning experience, food was amazing flavours fantastic. Love the trees growing up and over the ceiling.

   Food was nice, price was very expensive worked out to be £9 for ice cream if you had 3 courses. The roast was nice but more expensive than normal Sunday but nothing extra. Had to ask for more than one carrot on our roast. People were nice but very very slow service, 12.30 table and we didn't get main courses until 1.45 and we were not late. Overall we usually have a great experience here but this time we're disappointed at spending £180 on a meal which was just ok.

    Since moving to Harleston in February 2025 we have eaten at JD Young several times, including with my vegan younger son. Everything the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful and the food was tasty and more than sufficient. Good selection of beers and wines, which makes for a thoroughly enjoyable excursion. My wifevenjoys a well prepared pudding/dessert, do she was pleased too. We can walk to JD Young in five minutes from home, so we will be back again before long. Easy to book a table online as well.
