Food was excellent and our waiter, Rick, was the best ever! Beautiful view over the lake. Love this restaurant.

Excellent as always! We took our brother-in-law and his wife there for his birthday. Food was amazing! The Cornish game hen was so delicious! My husband raved about the chicken picatta. My BIL loved the pork chop. Service was excellent (Thanks Olivia!) and we always love sharing our favorite place with friends and family!

The food was outstanding!!!! However, our waiter was kinda blah and super slow Noise level was kinda high bcus it’s summer at the lake, and the food while delish was very pricey Much more $ than we expected We were shocked when the bill arrived

Highly recommend JB Hooks! Andrew was an excellent waiter and his back up, Maxwell, did an awesome job as well! They took great care of us! Food and drinks were exceptional. We will definitely be back!!

Overall everything was PERFECT! I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more. Me and my future wife had the best time and the food was spot on. The price to food was perfect!!

My prime rib steak was mushy and 1/3 of it was nothing but solid fat. Service was amazing as always.

It’s always unpredictable at JB Hooks what kind of service you will receive. We stopped going to the restaurant side two years ago due to poor steaks and subpar service. Thought we’d give it another try and nothing has changed. We knew not to order beef, and our meals were fine, but not for the price. The service was as always, poor. Sat down as a table of 2, 15 minutes after our reservation. Server was pleasant, she just had too many tables. Drinks were always empty, no bread till meal service, hostess were just not pleasant. It’s just always lacking and it was no different. Probably won’t try it again for a year or so.
