This restaurant is a staple at the lake! Every dish is phenomenal, we tried the grouper this time and it was fantastic. Our server, Rick, was very attentive and knowledgeable. We have the best experience every time we dine here.

The food has always been good here but there is always something that makes us say “ I don’t think we will come back” this time it was poor service. This has been an ongoing issue for this establishment. The view is great and the set up of the restaurant is amazing, the close tables and noise and no barrier from the bar to the formal dining ruins a romantic evening. Maybe it’s just our luck, but our servers have been rude and lack common courtesy. I would recommend they have dinner at Bentley’s down the road to see top notch servers.

Our waiter was great. I believe the owner of JB Hooks came around and thanked us for coming to JB Hooks. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We always buy gift cards to JB Hooks for our children and their families. Ted and Kim Vaughn.

Celebrated our 22nd Anniversary! Staff was fantastic… our server, Jackie, was the best! Took great care of us & even brought out a dessert plate (crème brûlée) with ‘Happy 22nd Anniversary!’ around the edge of the plate… FANTASTIC overall experience!!

We choose Hooks for our special occasion dinners. It was our 32nd Anniversary and they did not disappoint. Kelly was our great server. Steak Neptune and the special Swordfish Woodrow were fabulous. We were comped a yummy slice of cheesecake with strawberries. Another delightful evening.

It was a wonderful experience! We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they made it very special for her. We also had a beautiful sunset over the lake! The food was spectacular. And great service!

Our night was fantastic! All the food from appetizers to entres was delicious and cooked perfectly. All of us had different versions of fish and all were excellent! The portions were large and my only regret was not saving room for dessert. Olivia was our waitress and she is wonderful! Her recommendations for wine and food were spot on as usual. She was attentive and friendly - such a delight. The owner came to our table to thank us for coming in. I saw him making the rounds to other tables. That is a great touch for customers. We love coming to JB Hooks and will certainly be back.

Appetizers great . Ribeye steak came out literally cold. Had to send it back. Replacement had no flavor and lots of grissel. The waiter cut the price in hslf but overall wasn't impressed

We had dinner with some friends at JB Hooks and it was another very enjoyable experience. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and had a very nice window table with a view of the Lake. Our server was very friendly and professional. Everyone said their food was excellent. Another enjoyable dining experience at JB Hooks!

It’s a beautiful restaurant with a fabulous view of the lake. It’s more pricey than some other places but well worth it. It’s one of my favorite places to eat on every trip to the Lake.

Great experience. Once we figured out we were on the wrong side for dinner... LOL. That was a little confusing. We made reservations but didn’t realize it was 2 different atmospheres so we were on the patio with the sports game on. We dressed up thinking we were headed for a nice dinner out. We will know next time. We will definitely be back.

Our waitress was so attentive and offered honest opinions on drinks and food. The sunset view was perfect that evening! We really enjoyed our sirloin and Woodrow steak. They were perfectly cooked. We celebrated our 20th anniversary and Marty was so kind to ask if we were celebrating anything and then followed up with a delicious complimentary dessert!
