The restaurant is quiet and tastefully decorated. We received a small loaf of fresh pumpernickel that was very tasty immediately after ordering. I had shrimp and scallops, which were done just right and nicely seasoned. My wife had jambalaya with gluten-free pasta, which was delicious. The price was very reasonable, and service was very good. We will be back.

Always a nice time there. We love the Twisted Burger and bonus that kids eat free on Sundays. My son has loved going here for birthdays every year because of the sparklers.

We come to JB Dawson’s for the atmosphere and food quality. The service is always outstanding! The manager rounds on guests and is just a nice guy. He never forgets our names! We come to JB Dawson’s when we want a relaxing meal with awesome food and service!

Both of our entrees were delicious, steak and shrimp pasta sauté. Service was great and quick. We also enjoyed lobster bisque for an appetizer and apple crisp for dessert. I would highly recommend J.B. Dawson’s.

Food was good. Our waitress was okay. She did not get my mother’s order correct. I ordered soup and salad and my mother ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken as an option. When her lunch came it appeared she was given half Caesar salad with a chicken sandwich. My mom did not fuss and ate the chicken separate without the bun and said it was fine. Our waitress, once she delivered the food did not come back to the table to check on us and we had long finished when she did come back, the place was not busy at the time we were there. When she took the bill with the credit card I was still waiting ten minutes later and had to flag down another staff person to see if they could find her, and despite it being shared they work as a team this staff person did not seem happy, she finally appeared with my card and we then left. So was not impressed with waitress.

I was so excited to dine at the JB Dawson’s Lancaster location, as I used to live near their Langhorne location and was a regular there for many years before moving out of the area in 2019. I was so impressed that after 3 years, a different location, and all the challenges that restaurants faced with Covid, the food, the quality of service, and the consistency from the Langhorne location that I remember was all a perfect 10!! Outstanding job and my only request is that you please open a new location in State College! 😁

Food was good but not very warm. I had the crab cake and ribs. Noisy as there were a lot of children seated around us. Took too long to be seated even though we had a reservation. I would go there again but probably for lunch when it isn't as crowded.

It’s a little dark inside but also creates privacy. Food and drinks were excellent. Lobster bisque and grilled scallops were my favorite. The Bloody Mary with bacon, shrimp & olives was another table favorite. Servers were pleasant and worked as a team. Management checked on each table. Overall fantastic experience

The food was very good. The shrimp & scallops were cooked perfectly. They have a gluten free menu! Everyone was friendly that we encountered. The server did not come to check on us. Had to stop someone else for drink refills also had to go up to check on my to go order before receiving it. I’d recommend them for takeout but not to dine in.

Drove here to have dinner with our daughter who it’s at Millersville, great looking restaurant. The appetizers came out great although the main course was disappointing. My daughter and I ordered the 8oz filet and I got scallops and shrimp on the side. Her BF ordered the scallops and shrimp. The steak was room temp and the scallops and shrimp were room temp at best. The staff was polite and helpful although we weren’t interested in haven’t the food re-cooked with over an hour drive home. Great to see the kid but we will pick somewhere else next time

We were celebrating our anniversary, and had an attentive server. Our meal was wonderful - portions are nice. The menu is varied with something for everyone. We have had great food every time we visit.

Food was great and the server was nice. However we never got the loaf of bread we were suppose to get. Someone also ordered soup as a starter and never got it until reminded mid meal.

Was there with my wife and mother in-law. Always enjoy ourselves at this restaurant. Food and drinks are always to our liking. Service is great!

Thanks for the wonderful review & your continued patronage! As far as your Haddock comment, it is such a great seller and it is delicious. We struggle even putting a menu of our magnitude together yet alone the Seasonal Menu. We have so many great Seasonal Menu items over the year, we can't just keep putting them on the menu because our kitchen would crumble. Who knows, maybe some day. We always have it on our regular menu at our Seafood concept in Wyomissing called Coastal Grille.
