Nice menu selections and atmosphere. The food was good and service as well. I would only suggest that they improve their beer draught menu; currently very limited.

I hate to say this, but when I went to pick up my burger, the bottom half of the bun was so saturated in grease I knew that it would not be a good idea. I ended up eating it with a knife and fork and it was fine. Still, overall, if I was in the area again I would not hesitate to go back to Dawson's.

Well..been there many times before and this time not so good. Dirty silverware and dirty napkins. Also...the mixed drinks lacked alcohol. My partner and I only have one drink when out and really can tell if there is booze in it. Both did not. (or diluted) The brownie dessert was dry, and really lousy. (ice cream was good on top) 4 of us shared it and we all agreed it was old, dried out. Main courses were fine as were the vegetables.

I'd go back but they need to 'fine tune' things.

We go here for birthdays because my son loves the candles they have.

We had the prime rib sandwich. Outstanding.
And our server, Summer was incredible!
Furthermore, they honored my husband bring a Veteran with a free meal.

Nice of Dawsons to offer $15 off each meal for Veterans Day. Also can truthfully say that I have never had a bad meal at Dawsons

My wife and I went for a night out the food was good and the portion size I just right you definitely get your money's worth drinks are good as well

This has been our go to place to meet friends. The staff is gracious and helpful and very friendly Food portions are extremely generous, especially the Texas tenders. Great rubs too!

The Cobb salab has changed ! Normally it s a tower Cobb salad and now it s not. They said they don’t have time to do a tower as usual so…. I am sad to see they prefer profitability. Guests are not so important than before
But we like this restaurant and we will enjoy again

I was surprised to find such an affordable lunch menu. Though on my visit I was not pressed with time, I could’ve easily had an enjoyable lunch within one hour or less. The food was good, the service was great!

Our experience at JB Dawson's was great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. They were always ready with a drink refill, the check and to-go boxes before we had to ask.

The lobster bisque was the best I have ever had.
The rest of the dinner was mediocre. The waiter the same.

JB Dawson's is consistently very good with both food and service.

The food was very good. The lobster bisque is a must try if you like lobster - delicious and a generous portion of lobster on top. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

My fiancé and I visited Lancaster for the weekend and decided to give JB's a shot! We were able to secure a reservation for the same evening, and had a GREAT experience. Our server was polite, efficient, and checked in often. Our food was outstanding. We both ordered the rib eye steaks and they were cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. We didn't wait long for our food and it was a packed house that evening. We're from out of State, but love to visit Lancaster often, so we'll definitely be coming back again! Thanks for a most lovely and deeeelicious evening!

Service wasn’t great. Waitress was very rushed like she couldn’t wait to get rid of us. Food was good however my filet was over cooked. I ordered it medium rare and I received it medium well. The sour power was really tasty.

I came in to the restaurant a week ago and was surprised that some of the prices were increased significantly in my opinion. I gave a less than complimentary review without asking about the change. Having talked to the Dir of Operations, I realized that the prices of lobster, crab, and steak have skyrocketed which accounts for the increase.

I sincerely appreciate his concern and rapid reply to my complaint. I failed to get the full picture and I am sorry that I may have left readers thinking less of the restaurant. JB Dawson's remains one of my favorite area restaurants in the Lancaster Area.

The food is always delicious and the perfect temperature, the ambiance is lovely, the servers are always welcoming and quick to meet your requests. I have never been at the restaurant that a manager hasn't stopped to see if everything is to my liking. I will continue to visit JB Dawson's on a regular basis. You should, too.

The service was outstanding. They all work together so your glass is never empty and they make sure you're well taken care of. We will be back!

The food was bland, the fish and chips had no flavor, the portions of all the meals were small given the price( the new norm I guess). The service was the lone bright spot, the server was very attentive and pleasant.

Used to go to JB Dawson’s Christiana, DE location and always enjoyed it. Our visit to this one was great as usual and I’m glad that the ribs and chicken tasted exactly how I remembered!

On my last visit, I noticed that the prices have been raised and I was shocked. It's a significant hike for me. My friend and I used to come weekly, but, we've decided to curtail that habit. We will still visit the restaurant but not as frequently anymore.

The soda price has gone to $3.00 and a cup of soup cost me $8.00. I find that ridiculous.

It was our first time dining here, and we loved it. The reservation process was easy, the server was attentive, and the food was great. We're coming back.

Always a great place and you can actually see managers walking around and caring. Food is always great. If I had to say anything I wish they had better appetizer choices.

Food was fantastic. Our waitress, Celeste was the best.
