Our waitress was attentive and quick. The food was good, but it was very noisy. I think it’d be good for families with small kids
Really wasn't too impressed. When I made the reservation, I put on it that we were celebrating my wife's birthday that night. Nothing was said about it at the restaurant. Also, when we arrived to be sat, they wanted to seat us right by the speaker of the performer. I asked for us to sit on the patio by the river and they placed us out there. Our server was visibly not in the best mood. Later in the meal he told us about the table of drunk women he cut off and how he was trying to avoid them. Our food wasn't anything too be excited about. My wife ordered the Cajun fettuccine Alfredo and said it was spicier than expected. I ordered a house special chicken dish and asked if they could take the andouile out of the sauce. They said they could and wound up bringing the sauce out on the side instead of in the chicken. I felt that really detracted from the meal due to not giving the sauce time to soak into the meat a little while going from the kitchen to the table. Next time we visit OKC, we will look at other options to dine at.
My husband and I were there 4/13/18 for our anniversary and everything was great until my order was messed up. I had ordered the peeled shrimp and never got it and got my server admitted he didn't put in the order but I let it go. Later he brings our food and my steak is still bleeding (not at all what I wanted) he sends it back and has it cooked longer, this time when he bring it back it looks done but when I cut into the center it was still bleeding and red. I told him and he took the plate and offered to have it cooked longer but I refused because by then I wasn't even wanting the steak anymore. The manager has offered a free dessert and to take my meal off but it was too late I felt like our anniversary dinner was already ruined. It's upsetting because this was our one year married anniversary and nothing went at all as planned. Maybe others will have a better experience than we did.
Been here several times. Food is always pretty good, but service is iffy. There is usually live music which makes it hard to hold a conversation. But it’s a decent experience in Bricktown.
Way too loud. Couldn't even have a conversation.
Reserved our seats on this app.. got right to our table.. took a minute to get served after that but Alex our waiter made it up fast... he was friendly, funny and prompt with everything else!! Then the food... AMAZING!!! We just ordered off the appetizer and tried a few different ones and let me tell you... I have never had that good of calamari in my life!! The crab cake, alligator bites were also my favorites. This was our first time and we will definitely be back when we come to town. Thank You
The food was great and we had an awesome server! Thanks so much!
Came here on a date. Great experience!!
We chose to dine inside as there was loud music out. About 10 minutes after we were seated (at 6:00 pm), a performer began a set. While the performer was good - and I would have enjoyed if I were alone - it made it very difficult to have any conversation. My son, who'd been in an accident recently, ended up with a severe migraine due to the volume.
There needs to be a place for people who want to talk - or at least have the performer be quieter as background to dinner guest can hear without shouting prior to at least 8 or 9 when the bar scene starts to heat up
Waiter was awesome!!! Will be back 100% The food was really great. Couldn’t get enough of the blackened catfish!
The ambiance was very good. I felt the whole Cajun vibe through the surrounding decorations. The band was good as well.
What I didn’t like was the service. Our waitress was not attentive as she forgot to put in our appetizer when we ordered it after waiting at least 45 minutes. She told us that she forgot which I don’t feel at all. She wrote it down but still forgot it, I guess.
My order was not that good in my opinion. It was under seasoned and just not what I expected it to be. The big pile of vegetables that came with my order was not appealing. It took up majority of the plate. I knew it came with vegetables but I didn’t think it would be presented like that.
Arnold Palmer was nasty because they didn’t have actual sweet tea to mix with the lemonade. They had to put simple syrup in my drink to make it taste like anything.
Overall, I wouldn’t go back to this place. It was a new experience but that is it. I’ve had better at Pappadeux, Razoos, or Boo-Rays just to be honest.
First time visit but definitely not the last. Great experience.
Food quality always is consistently good and they offer a good variety of menu items, not just seafood. It can get a little loud at times, especially when there is live music, but that's not necessarily a negative as long as you know what to expect.
My wife and I have been dining here for almost 15 years. It has always been one of our favorites. For different reasons though the time between this trip and our last one was probably about a year. The food was still delicious and the ambiance perfect for an evening out. Even though we enjoyed ourselves we noticed the service was lacking. We had a table full of plates all evening and we were never offered more drinks. We also noticed the portion sizes were smaller and we may have paid a little more than years past, but I think that’s typical everywhere you go anymore. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed our date. The food really was good.
It was a great location on the riverwalk but the food just did not taste good. I had the blackened shrimp.
Surprise find. Employees, atmosphere, food and music were all good.
We love bourbon street. The food is always great and so is the atmosphere. We have noticed service is slow and they aren’t always trained. The menu is usually not updated and/or they are out of items from the bar. Overall it’s is good dinner place but it’s not quick if you have somewhere to be! We have been late to the last 2 concerts and had to ask for our ticket each time.
Very cool basement location with great vibe. Satchmo's Salmon was outstanding! Really enjoyed the three piece jazz band.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was excellent. The live music a wonderful addition.
The food was good, it was difficult to taste the catfish through the breading it was fried in, otherwise the food was good.
Husband ordered shrimp poboy and he thought it was pretty good. I ordered Black Magic Catfish. Very disappointed. Sauce was supposed to be ettouffe but not much of it and thin. Dirty rice was clumped up and not tasty. Appetizer was crawfish queso and we all thought it was very good. Wait staff excellent.
Absolutely wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere. Hubby's birthday dinner was perfect with a crab dip appetizer, steak, rock lobster, bacon wrapped shrimp, garlic potatoes, & asparagus with chocolate tower cake & drinks. Only bad thing was $10 parking on top of a triple digit tab.
Food and beers were great. Our waiter was awesome. Well worth the drive. Will visit again.
Food was good, service was terrible . Could not get drink refills
Very nice experience. 1st time and we will be back. Only issue was that so parts of the appetizer was a little burned, but we were there pretty late. Overall though, great experience.
Food was amazing! Black Magic Catfish was to die for. Our server Alex was awesome!
My girlfriend and I enjoyed it very much!! I will be going back. The alligator bites are very good!
Customer Service was amazing we were seated promptly, but the food was so delicious.
This is the second time we've dined here. Both times were Valentines Day. Last year our waiter was extraordinary. We asked if he was here this time and learned that he is a manager. That's terrific. Our waitress was extraordinary this time, too. My wife and I ordered the blackened filet mignon medium rare. It was perfect. The wine was a nice cabernet. The calamari appetizer was wonderful. We had a great time and great food. We will be back more often.
I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance of Valentine's day, but when we arrived, were seated in a very crowded cafeteria like setting. I would expect that from a last minute request, but not 2 weeks in advance. Also on the way to the crowded room, we passed some booths of a more intimate nature. Wonder when these folks made their reservations. Half of these booths were empty as we passed. However the food was good and wait staff was terrific.
Awesome food, good strong drinks, amazing service...this is a nice quiet get away!!!
It was a pleasant experience. Loved the ambience; live music was nice. The live performance is broadcasted in various areas, including the bathroom! The volume differs depending on where you are seated as well. Waitress was not pushy to order items, which is good for us to reacquaint with the menu.
I ordered the fried shrimp. The shrimp were large a food was great. I recommend this place to anyone. Great place to eat before Thunder games!!
The food was good. Service was good. Overall we will return
Our server was beyond amazing. Probably the best server I’ve had at any restaurant. Food was great!
Waiter was superb. Very attentive.
The best place in Bricktown! Food is always good and the service is the best!
Started with the crab dip and it was excellent. My wife and I both had the crawfish etouffee. Tasted great and was a generous portion. Could have shared and been satisfied, especially since we followed it with the seven layer chocolate cake and ice cream. We thought we would share the cake for my wife's birthday. It was too much for two of us to eat, But of course we loved it and ate as much as we could. Our waiter was very friendly and did a good job. The setting along the canal is also very beautiful. We will definitely be back.
One of my favorite bricktown restaurants, but you'd really think that they'd make sure that they had enough waitstaff before a Thunder game. They sat FOUR tables in the same section with ONE waiter within minutes of each other. He was having to go from one to the next to get the drinks, orders, etc. I'm sure THAT is the reason that it took us 40 min to get our food EVEN THOUGH we placed our order when he introduced himself and to get our drink order. Even though most of my experiences have been above average, sadly it was my guest's first time. :-(
Good food but a little overpriced. Only place I’ve ever seen burgers that didn’t come with fries.
Specified in reservation “ a table not too close to band” bcuz it was so loud last time we were there. Both to times we literally sat right in front of the stage. Nice music but couldn’t enjoy our friends conversation due to the noise level. Not at all crowded when we arrived could have been seated plenty of other places. Enjoyed the music but given the venue I think band should be background ambience not concert attraction.
