   Great food. NYC has so many good restaurants it is hard to find one that is not good, but this is definitely worth visiting. I hope the tourist in that part of town will give it a try.

   We live near Lincoln Center with so many food choices up and down 9th Ave. We were looking for solid Indian food with good vege options. We landed at Jaz. We went for the garlic naan, some raita and some chutney for starters. We then had the chana masala, daal makhani, palak paneer, and baingan bharta between 4 of us. It was all so fragrant with just the right spice. Jaz (the owner) came by to introduce herself and check in with us. She is as delightful as the food and we look forward to visiting again soon and trying more dishes on the menu! Definitely worth a visit!!

   One of our favorite places; tried the lamb vindaloo and the shrimp balchao for the first time—both fantastic. Jaz makes everyone feel welcome.

    The food is excellent. Some fusion dishes. But everything is a la carte. You don’t even get rice with your entree. Very small, the owner Jaz was behind the bar and is very gracious and welcoming. Good wine list. Very expensive. Worth it for a special occasion
